Yes I know, the engine compartment is identically clean as the chassis. Immediate need is new tires. Buyer said it drove well from KC on interstate, but at 60 mph they do shudder from their age. Also, radio needs replaced Nothing else is very noticeable so far, except for LF strut needs replaced later on.

The seller is locally known for his modern classic Jeep finds. He picked this one up at a KC auction. 'Barn Find' that's always been garaged apparently. Here's a few more pictures. I doubt the mileage was altered, based on the condition of the undercarriage.

As probably most of us know, when you buy a car it is rarely during the best time. This beaut shown on my local classifieds a few days ago. Always have been intrigued of the follow that these OG suvs have. This would ultimately be, and replace my daily driver... a 2002 Honda CRV. This vehicle is PRIMO for its age. Am I being really fu5king stupid if I pass this rare bird behind????? • 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4 4.0 • Only 120k miles • 17,000 firm

In my small Kansas town, my MJ gets a fair amount of attention, actually. I take it to car shows to hangout with other weirdo rides. While there, I've heard a few shoutouts from pre-16 boys saying they dig my WIP. Also, randomly while driving, I notice various levels of attention as people pass my cool old truck.

Mildly Rough Clutch Pedal
White_Comanche replied to White_Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Awesome, thanks fellas, especially for the informative replies. Eaglescout: no I don't have the trans out, or lowered. Currently, truck is in driving state like always, but it's good knowing how to proceed as anticipated. Eagle_SX4: thanks for introducing this "new" way of bleeding to me a few months ago. ***** Looking forward to this project. Think I'm gonna order an OEM Slave soon to match my Mopar Master. Aftermarket is the line only. -
Mildly Rough Clutch Pedal

Guys, please have a view of the video below. I still have yet to complete this project. But once I finally buy a slave cylinder, I then have all the parts needed. — Eagle_SX4, is this more or less the procedure that you use to bleed via the slave? — Eaglescout526, this shows using a vise to bleed a complete hydraulic system. Would installing all three parts connected on my 1986 even be realistic, or would it be far less of a headache to mount parts separately and then connect the line... then finally bleed? -

Can you tell me the exact Migliore product you use? Looks like all quality stuff. As I was using lacquer thinner to clean overspray today, I noticed my rags were turning black from rubbing the plastic... hence SOLVENT based. Using the torch method generally works pretty well, but it does require repeat spot treatments. And the sheen still remains flat.

After a few all-day-long days during this holiday weekend I finally got my CRV "finished". Sometime in the near future I'll polish the paint either by hand or by motorized tool. Overall I'm happy with the results. I don't have an air compressor so I needed to go with rattle cans. It took 3 spray cans of base color and 2 cans of 2K clear coat. I could easily have used an additional can of clear, however. Some areas are glass-smooth, while other parts have subtle orange peel. Not bad for working in a small garage with terrible lighting. I also used this opportunity to fix prior paint damage and sun bleaching on the hood and roof as well. MASKING PAINTING & CLEAR COAT

Everyday flashlights and worklights are dangerous to look at now, even briefly, in my opinion. High lumen LED products are common to find these days. I’m surprised we don’t see reports of kids having accidental eye injury. Also, headlights on modern trucks and SUVs are almost blinding at night.

This Labor Day weekend I have finally started a project that needed the right temperature and enough time to tackle. Last year during the election I had a bumper sticker on my back window that someone(s) with severe TDS could not handle. So I took this as an opportunity to learn how to properly sand away key scratches. Followed by base color, clear coat, and finally polishing. Take what you see below and imagine this level of deep scratches all the way around my CRV. I feel sorry for whoever did this, because I'm not hurt in the least. This has been a FUN project so far.

It means that I'm creating a product to fill a void, and I don't want to disclose too much of the process. -

At first, I was hesitant in showing in-progress shots. Now with this much time into it, I doubt too many would even get to this point. -
They will get $180 max for this. Bet
