fiatslug87
I guess I was "somewhat trendy"??? Interesting the Eliminator has ten-hole wheels without the rivets. Did they vary by years or is it just for the picture?
Gjeep
In 91 the outer rivets on those rims disappeared. I actually liked the look of the renix era eliminator rims a little better.
Limeyjeeper
Not strictly true. My Feb build 91 had rivets. I think it changed mid 91. All the 92's didnt have rivets.
Minuit
As a side point, the "rivets" are in no way specific to the Eliminator. The '91 Jeep Book brochure (I think) shows an XJ Sport with what we think of as Eliminator wheels.

Red Mistress
Dealer installed option, Jeep Special Equipment From looking thru Jeep SE books it appears that there were 3 different "above factory bumper" winch mounts. Ramsey was first supplier, 8200332 Warn WAR39637 (available thru Jeep and Warn dealers) I'm not certain on dates / year of change of each style winch mount. Red Mistress
Found a NOS Jeep SE Ramsey hidden winch kit !!! Looking at instructions, I have concluded that Ramsey made revisions to the kit. Coolest part of this accessory is the unique hawse fairlead that fits the shape of XJ front bumper. Gotta decide if MJ or Chief gets the honor.

Gjeep
My vote is chief with the outboard winch. And the MJ with the hidden winch. Some thing about the 2dr XJ long quarter panel glass that won’t look right with the extended front bumper.
Red Mistress
I’m really looking for Warn Transformer (like look better than Ramsey grill / brush guard). Would like to showcase the hidden on one & Transformer on other. Worked on MJ today...trying get belt chirp to go away. replaced idler pulley and bushing.with Mopar Was tightening power steering pump and adjuster nut broke. Since MJ will be down few days decided tackle more stuff. Pulled door panel (first time ever been off) and lubed window mechanism. i did not want to disturb the water dam so I put Aerosol can inside door thru speaker hole. Then lubed the hose by Inserting straw thru door clip hole and holding hose up so lube would run down. Sooooo much better !

Red Mistress
P-6605 Kit arrived, it’s the early version for 6000# Ramsey. As far as I can tell this early kit used the 6000# only. Kit 29513 for 84-94 XJ used 4500, 5000 which used wing style fairlead and 6000# that used fame fairlead as early kit. This kit used a 2x2 angle iron rectangle frame. Not only am I a Jeep nut, I also enjoy learning history hands on. TV sucks !
Minuit
Yeah, you have to make sure that nothing interferes with the airbag system on a '94 and down XJ
Red Mistress
Ramsey designed a special winch for the hidden kit. Ramsey 6000XJ. From the research I have read, the mounting feet were beefed up to allow pulling load from them directly. Most winches are mounted so feet see sheer loads. Of course not the case with XJ hidden. The new Ramsey Patriot 6000 doesn’t look to fit due to motor being “fatter”. So went looking and found a NOS Ramsey 6000XJ
