I'm not an employee of Rock Auto or any affiliate.  My friends or relatives don't work there or own any stock in anything associated with them...so I have nothing to gain by plugging them...that being said:

 

I can't say enough good things about the way they handled my recent order(s).  Easy to find stuff, GREAT prices, immediate shipping.  I saved over $90 on parts that cost a total of $225, over any local parts store and got name brand stuff, no junk.  I had to wait a few days for it to get here but I was not in a huge hurry anyway.  I ordered it on Saturday, I had it in my hand on Wednesday.

 

I've bought stuff from them over the years one bit at a time, but the last order included 9 separate parts for my MJ.  One of the items was slightly damaged (I could have worked with it but I decided to call customer service anyway) by the postal carrier and they (RA) jumped right on it sending me a replacement via next day express service, and it was truly here the next day.

i just ordered several seals and parts from them for a work truck. had them in two days since they ship out of TN. I also ordered various parts for the MJ through them and saved a good chunk of money (bearings, ball joints etc etc) great prices, great products.

Its a great site, just watch out for shipping costs, they can get pricey. My Comanche floor pans were about 50% cheaper on there compared to other sites.

Just ordered both vacuum harnesses and other assrted parts for several vehicles. The harnesses were $18 and change, everyone else wanted $21 and $28 for the harnesses. I like to buy from them when i'm ablt to plan ahead on repairs. Never had bad shipping costs. The only problem i've had was when i ordered front brake hoses, one was a re-boxed inferior hose, but still worked and it didnt come with the copper gaskets.

i get wholesale prices through the shop for my parts. i still usually order from rock auto because rock auto often is a lower price, and then i don't have to deal with making sure the parts guy bills it as cash instead of to the shop account.

Agree, maximum suckage on Rock Auto's commercials. But that's okay. A lower advertising budget = better parts discounts. Usually.

This is irritating. I've actually instead ordered from 4wheelparts getting the same stuff do to free shipping over 100 bucks. Shipping costs more then the damn parts in some instances.

I have had good luck with RockAuto when I have ordered from them. Although, I must say, I did not see any significant savings in their parts+shipping vs my local NAPA parts+tax. Maybe I was ordering the wrong type of stuff to see the savings actually make a difference  :dunno:

99.9% of all the parts I've bought for my manche have been from rock auto,they are the best,,,I have that magnet to!!!

No complaints about Rock Auto other than with shipping you're about breaking even vs. a local parts shop.

 

Fast shipping- placed motor mount order on a Thursday and had them in hand the following Tuesday... and that's from being shipped 3 time zones away.

Rock Auto is a great source for parts, so is Amazon.com..and eBay sometimes,. as some have said not everything is cheaper with shipping but there are plenty of parts you can't get local for the price.

they have outstanding replacement service and have paid return shipping on warranty parts for me . I really like rock auto and have been a customer for years
