It sounds like the turn signal has been left on, just a little louder. Tick about every 4 seconds when moving up to about 40mph then just about every 2 seconds when faster. Thanks for ideas to check out, hope to be able to troubleshoot it next week. Got to change the fuel pump in the 04 grand cherokee first.
-
Yep, referring to the 91 and that is disappointing news, thanks for the replies.

Driving to work (now) suddenly hear a ticking coming from instrument panel. Slows down as speed slows and increases in speed with speed, stops when I stop. My guess is speedometer cable loose? It's not jumping around or anything and haven't had the dash apart. Did a quick search and paradisemj mentions loose cable but his tick went away as he drove faster. Just curious if anyone had similar, not going to be able to look into it till next week anyway.

This was my last issue and there is nothing more than that pic on the cover in the mag, disappointing.

Literally live just outside west philly, any given day you can see half dozen to a dozen 4wheelers, dirt bikes or mini bikes on side walks, roads, even weaving between cars moving on street. Never see any pulled over, they even pull into gas stations to fill up. I do see many of them roll into the ER as traumas from stupidity. I call it job security, can't fix stupid.

I bought them last February with the first group buy and paid 370 with shipping. I only saved the confirmation email so I don't know the part #. Call and talk to Joe tell him what you want and he'll hook you up

I also just had an 8.8 installed (SUA) using the ruff stuff u bolt eliminator kit don't know if that would make a difference, shouldn't. I was surprised when the guy who installed it told me and when I first saw it. Before the rear was really low compared to the front and now it's just a couple inches higher. I really don't think I can get away with 3" coils without making the back (look) lower again, thus installing adjustable shackles or Chevy drop brackets. All I want is 3 inches of lift and then will trim and bump stop accordingly to fit tires. When I bought the packs and talked with Joe at GS he said to expect 2-4 inches of lift, guess I got 2 inch springs. Oh and even with new shocks they are really soft, the flex is amazing

Just got my packs from general springs installed and only got about 2 inch of lift with them. I have a hardly noticeable rake with my original coils up front, a bit disappointed. Nothing chevy drop shackle can't fix, I guess.

Ok, I have an internal slave ax15 in my 91 4.0. Trying to gather info for a clutch fix, going to be needed not to far in the future. This will be my first time changing a clutch. With having to pull the transmission to change the clutch, curious about just changing the transmission Now for the choices: I have a NV3550 with bell housing out of a TJ (inherited from brother in law). Should I just put the 3550 in (I would need to get a slave cylinder for it). In reading reviews it seems more people try to find a 3550 for the housing to use on an internal 15. Should I take the bell housing off the 3550 and put it on my ax15, thus creating an external slave ax15? I would have to purchase all other parts to change my ax15 from internal to external? Last choice, just pull the internal slave ax15, change the clutch and reinstall? In reading peoples experiences with internal slave transmissions, I feel that this option is polishing a turd! Sorry if this would be obvious to some of you, but experiences, advice, thoughts would be helpful Thanks Josh

Thanks, makes sense. Figure I will replace entire bench seat foam. Now to just do some more searchin and find quality foam
-
Cover is intact. I didn't realize there is foam and padding, I guess the foam is just worn out (I sink down in the seat). Would like to get quality stuff that will last.
-
Did a quick CC and google search but didn't come up with any great answers. Has anyone repadded their bench seat? Mine has seen better days and wondered if there were any recommendations? Thanks

Looking at a used millermatic 211, anything I should keep my eye out for when I go look at it. Took welding at vocational school 15 + yrs ago but not since. Want to get back at it. 500$ cheaper than a new one comes with plugs and regulator. Thoughts

Rocky road outfitters misspelled comanche in some of their ads, come on man!
