Best MJ storyNot sure that I have a best story. What owner loves best about CC Mainly that it exists. ------------------------------------------------------------------ What a rig. One of the proud few to run the 2.5L and show it as an equally capable power plant. Your truck is a thing of beauty. Built just right, without blowing the bank. You have been a pretty constant presence here on the club for quite awhile. You've always been on to offer advice, or help a member out that needs a hand. It's not just the truck that makes the MJOTM, but the member behind it also. Congrats on your MJOTM. Enjoy the spotlight! Rob  Click here to view the article
Naterenfo1 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Always loved to get ideas and look at the build page on this rig! A well deserved congratulations is in order!!!
ComancheKid45 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Always enjoyed reading your build thread, and the truck has evolved very nicely from when you 1st graced us with its presence. Great Job!
onlyinajeep726 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I have a 2.5L too! I just got to figure out how to make her happy and run right... Anyway, congrats on MJOTM!
HOrnbrod Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 That interior is just too damn pretty and comfortable looking for a trail rig. I could live in there. Thanks for being a great CC member and sharing your expertise with all.
jimoshel Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Nice rig. Really nice to hear that I'm not the only guy that appreciates the very capable 2.5. But question. Why are you trying to push that stump back into the ground?
mnkyboy Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 A few guys were goofing off trying to park on it and someone who had heard about my MJ asked me to try. The MJ effortlessly drove right up.
89eliminator Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 nice choice! one of my favorite rigs on the site.
86customanche Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Congrats! Do you have a write up on those taillights? I'm looking to do the same
mnkyboy Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 The housings are 3/16" plate that I shaped by hand, the lights are a Maxxima brand LED with built in back up lights. There's a few pics of how I built them on my build thread and I can get you a part # for the lights if you need it.
Bornindesert Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Nice build and agree with al the comments, really appreciate some of the help and advice you've provided on ComancheClub formus!
87Warrior Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Congratulations! Your truck is on of my favorite wheeling trucks. Everything is well done!

mnkyboy Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Thank you. Here's an old pic of my MJ right after I got It. Probably the best $400 I ever spent.
Darren Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 What Mnkyboy really loves best about CC is me. Congrats Nathen!
Comanche County Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Nathen, mind throwing up a shot of your steering set up?
mnkyboy Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Its just stock YJ stuff with a lengthened drag link , I put it on temporarily till I could upgrade and haven't got around changing it.

jeepdoggydogB Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Outstanding example of a Comanche, one's will, and the innovation it produces. I especially love your "captains chairs". I am definitely putting that mod on my list of "to do's"
