Got some wheel spacers yesterday,I planned to put them on the D44 when it goes in but i couldnt wait so i bolted them to the d35.

Also Ive been curious as to why I'm not getting the flex i think i should be getting out of the front, today i figured it out.

My RRO shocks are way too short.

with the shocks

without the shocks

I guess I'm gonna be looking for some longer shocks.

I swapped in a mint condition steering wheel from a JY XJ.

I swapped in rear bumper brackets from a part out MJ.

I tried to install drop shackles and new leaf bushings. Couldn't remove old bushings and the drop shackles seem too big in every way.

Rear, don't mind the paint, I plan on masking everything off and reshoot the whole truck

I still need to trim the sheet metal inside the wheel well.

They are 1.5" dom and 18 gage sheet metal fully welded on both sides and tied into the frame

Thanks, I'm not sure if I like the angle of the part in front of the tire, but its too late now. My roll bar goes through the bed to tie into the frame, I plan on tying these into the roll bar too.

Yeah, I am still spring under, I built the MJ starting with just the frame, I couldn't find any decent stock springs, so I went with a set of Alcan ones.

here's a few better pics..... Like I said, don't mind the paint on the bedside, I have a whole gallon waiting to repaint the entire truck.

got the dome light wired up in the overhead console, as well as the rock lights, but manual as so have complete control over them, meaning the dome as no need to mess with them when pull the doors. very happy with the set up. :D

I had my head pressure tested and plained today as the head gasket blew last week. Now I can fix the pesky exhaust manifold leak. I was missing bolt # 1 and could not get one in while on the jeep. I was also missing # 3 and 6. I opted to remove the studs and use 1 1/4 Stainless g8 bolts while on my bench. I have the manifold washer thing all figured out too!

There are 2 different types of washers used on the manifolds. One for the bolts that only touch the exhaust manifold, and one for the combination bolts for the intake/exhaust.

Hopefullt this will clear up a lot of leaks, cracks etc on the 2.5L we all love!

see this picture :)

Oh wow you went fancy battery lol :dunce:

I did the 96 XJ BB and MC upgrade and let me say OMG!!!!! Them brakes feel brand new, %100 better. I tried it, and even with a bunch of weight in the bed (like 500+ lbs) I could smoke my tires while on the brakes! Great upgrade, I think that every body should do this even if you have stock size street tires.

Ok, the head on my 2.5 pressure tested fine. It was out .010. Now that it's all back together, new felpro gasket set etc. It is running worse than before I took it apart.

Is it possible that a sensor/sender could mKe it feel like it's running on 3 cyl?

It doesn't look like you could plug the wrong plug on the wiring harness as the are all different?

Bought an AX5 out of a 90s Cherokee to put in the Purple People Eater. Turned out to be a 4 speed, then at home it turned out to be a T4 out of an 82 CJ, so it went back to the seller.

Drove 170 miles and wasted $30 in gas and half my Saturday.
