  1. I cleaned it and zoomed it the best I could. It doesn't look like a hack job to me...
  2. Yea...there is no benefit to having a remote mounted radiator. The last one I saw rolled on a trail ride and when the radiator busted, the hot liquid put 3rd degree burns on 15% of the girl's body riding in the passenger seat. :wall:
  3. Ahhhhh... Recall... ;)
  4. Aussie is an internal (lunch box) style...
  5. Cool I really wish I had the facility to do that kind of work. Keep the progress pics comin'
  6. I think the buckets are much more comfortable as well. I always felt like I was leaning in to the door when driving with the bench.
  7. It is the starter relay, but I am not an electrical wiz by any stretch of the imagination so I don't know if it would have anything to do with charging.
  8. The Chrysler part# is 83501426AC. That will come with a gasket as well and shoud sell for around $14. I doubt that they are much cheaper in the aftermarket, but I have not checked.
  9. Short beds work better for offroad use. Long beds look better with big lifts & tires. Just depends on what you want to do with it...
  10. Exactly...the one from the dealer comes with a bypass hole / check ball in it that needs to go in the 12:00 position. The aftermarket ones do not have this and while you can do without it...it's not recommended. :smart:
  11. Yes...you should be able to shift on the fly, but I thought it was only up to 50 MPH. Personally, I am like CW and slow down or stop to do it.
  12. If you are sure of a completely proper functioning fuel system including injectors & ballast resistor, them the only other thing left is fire... CPS could be going bad... Coil could be having issues... The CPS is my primary suspect because of the stalling issue and because of the "runs on a few cylinders for about 5 seconds" thing.

:hmm: None of that fits the way I do things...slow, proper and usually expensive... Good doesn't usually go along with fast or cheap that I have seen ;)
  14. The inside of the bed is nicer than the outside... :rotf: Nice truck over all, but definitely not worth what he thinks. You never know though, someone may think it is... :dunno:

    Aw, too bad:

WTF are you saying???? :hmm: R u DrUnK??? nah, he's always that way   but here's the interpretation; I [t]ake it they won't sell [the vehicle] whole [complete] some [junkyards] here [where bigd is from] will [sell them complete, or as complete as they are.] :rotf: Yea...that should be two sentences. It is missing words and punctuation... ;) . Must be a texter...
  16. Be sure to take lots of pics of the process and make notes so you can do a nice "How To" write up for our DIY Forum here
  17. Yep...take the IAC off, clean it real good and clean the throttle body real good too. If that doesn't fix it then you likely have an IAC going bad.
  18. That's quite the idea  . Sticks out a little too far for my liking, but it's one tough chunk of steel ;)
  19. Good deal...usually does
  20. I painted some new shocks for the rear as the ones on it are too short. I will let the paint cure overnight and install them tomorrow.
  21. Sounds like a coincidental problem with the radio itself. May be time for a replacement.
  22. Sounds like a beast in the making. :clapping: FYI...3.83 gears are not an available ratio option. It would be 3.73, but if you are running 33's, you will want to go with 4.10's with the 4.0L engine. You could go 4.56, but I did that wit h33's and it was way too much gear for them...but, it's much better now that I have 35's even though I can still start out in 2nd gear a lot of the time. Get some pics going...
  23. Might help to have a little info about what you are working on...
  24. Try this and see what happens... http://www.dirtdevils.org/XJNutralSwitch.htm If cleaning the neutral safety switch doesn't help, then you may have to spend the money to replace it.
