  1. You'll have to change carriers to go to say 4.lls.........IOWs, you cannot use your 3.07 carrier to run a taller gear than 3.55. I guess you know you are planning on spending a S---load of money?
  2. Does anyone have an exploded view of the ignition switch wiring? What color to what purpose? Yes I have a schematic but I'm looking for a simplified version. 1984 to 1994 should be the same. Thanks.
  3. I'm no fan of the 4.0, no fan of the AW4........that said- Our XJ will pull 3-4K uphill with no problem. Braking is another matter. Over 250K miles. See link below- I've gone through my engine harness, eliminated the C101, improved my grounds, replaced all sensors.....etc........ Last weekend I replaced my fuse block, all new connectors. Truck had not been started in over a week, turned key and to my surprise it fired up immediately. What the fuse block has to do directly with the ignition circuit...IDK, however, with every improvement I've made to the electrical system the engine runs better, starts faster. I read all the complaints regarding lacking of power, and the standard answer is- throw a stroker at it. If you have a problem, it's mechanical or electrical. See his experience-
  4. Where'd you get that information at?
  5. Powermaster Best prices through Summit.
  6. Yes, you'd have to talk him into shipping it.
  7. That's what it is.
  8. Please let us know how the Sniper worked out for you. I would consider that a necessity, not a splurge. I'm looking at the Terminator and the dual sync distributor for my future build- https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-550-444k?seid=srese1&cm_mmc=pla-google-_-shopping-_-srese1-_-holley&gclid=CjwKCAjw75HWBRAwEiwAdzefxJ81Bg0T-P9G5RTSp9UmfRKgktHhZpPRnVWTaVwYPlgaeyRSuLIJ8RoCU-wQAvD_BwE I used 4g wire and a 175amp Mega fuse at the starter relay for mine, you should have no problem installing the alt.
  9. Plastic grille?
  10. If you don't have it figured out by tonight....... I'll take a pic of mine when I get home, right now it's raining and I have to go to work.
  11. Do you need the four bolts? I generally save stuff like that, I believe I have the four bolts with the brackets, if you need those, I'll look. Just pay shipping and they are yours.
  12. The dash is a bit much.........but..........you have my attention.
  13. You still have to move the perches. Learn to weld.
  14. Meh..................
  15. Appliance stores.
  16. One of the few industrial business here in town is a plating company. I called them to see about getting my head bolts plated, they have a $450 minimum. I know the man who is head of maintenance there and I asked him why such an expensive minimum and if he could get it done for me cheaper? He explained that everything is run in separate batches, one bolt or part, or 100 bolts or 100 parts, that they would not risk contaminating an entire batch by adding my 10 or 12 or 15 bolts. He stated that even the employees cannot get parts plated without paying the minimum and running a batch. Just passing on what was explained to me.
  17. That's a shame. It's going to be difficult to find replacement woody parts.

Passover. Feast of Unleavened Bread. Our Seder, my wife is a good cook too, very fortunate. :)
  19. Now that I have a 97+ pedal assembly, I've measured and considered, it's not worth the effort. The 97+ would work with some modification but are very different. Shame too because this assembly is real smooth with no play. Once I get the column out I'll decide if I want to cut and move the pedal pads on my MJ set, they can be moved left about .75". Off to ebay they go-
  20. I've officially joined the club, those of us who've swapped out a fuse block. Patience and focus.
  21. I had to adapt mine too.
