  1. The cruise control system uses two cables: One from the t-case through the fire wall to a rev-counter (long cable); second from the rev counter to the back of the speedo (short cable). To my knowledge, the short cable is NLA. The rev-counter feeds the engine speed to the control module. The servo works off a vacuum. A cable runs from the servo to the throttle body to keep the engine speed constant. As mentioned, the short cable is inside the cab, behind the instrument cluster. I have an extra short cable. I pulled it from some junk XJs. The long cable is still available from NAPA.
  2. "Through early morning fog I see..." Brings back fond memories of a great show. I am looking for the helicopters coming in with wounded. Wish I could get out there to see it.
  3. I am not a lawyer. (I did not play one on TV; I did not sleep at a Holiday Inn Express) Somewhere someone owns the patents for the parts. If the owner finds out that someone is making that part AND SELLING THEM, the owner may sue for lost revenue and legal fees...if they find out about it. If you make it for your own personal use, they cannot go after you. Continue at your own risk.
  4. I will be there Saturday. A set of seat brackets would be nice
  5. I'd consider selling the whole seat. You just have to get them.
  6. The seat is the new fabric. The back is original
  7. Here is the link to the company: https://smsautofabrics.com
  8. Here’s one of them. The second is next to it.
  9. I have a similar pattern in tan/gold. I spoke with an upholstery shop to get mine recovered. They did not have the fabric, but a shop in OR may have it. I called and ordered two yards. What was sent did not match. It is more orange than tan, but the pattern is the same. I will post a picture later. I will get you the name and number also. BTW - I have those exact seats here. They have rocker/slider bases.
  10. That was before the Louisiana Purchase. At that time, the USA only went as far as the Mississippi river. The Ohio territory (current Indiana, Illinois, Michigan) was then the Northwest. After the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, the Ohio territory became the mid-west.
  11. You got one for an HO engine. The polarity is the opposite for a Renix.
  12. Matt with bleepinjeep.com has them in the store - $9.99
  13. I will, but I’m away currently. Be back June 11
  14. The PO must have moved it out of the way but left it intact
  15. Yes, I know. No, it will not.
  16. I like it 👍. Like saveeryjp said, the two tone color on the flares adds a nice touch. I have the same parking brake for my MJ! Gotta love the pedals in the Jeeps.
  17. You'll have to be more specific for the parts. The MJ shares many parts with XJ from that era. However, the MJ also has unique parts that are NLA.
  18. have you checked to see if an injector is stuck open? That would be feeding too much fuel to the engine.
  19. I glad I could help save another MJ and related parts. Sounds great.
  20. Yes, the pressure plates changed when Jeep switched from internal to external slave cyl.
  21. Ryan, I don't have any info on the bed. Someone on a private facebook group listed it for sale not far from my location (~1 hr). I passed the info to another CC member. Don't know if he has moved on it. If he purchases it and doesn't need the bed liner, he may sell it. (However, you are on the west coast. The bed and liner are in Virginia.) Tim
  22. He doesn't list MJ specific parts on the store site. He has brought some MJ parts to the York PA Jeep show.
  23. PM sent
  24. It's private facebook group. I sent the seller a message. I'll let you know if/when I hear from him.
