I don't think you can easily modify the BA10 to fit the AX15. The AX15 crossmember has a drop in it to fit the "taller" trans. Unless you can cut and re-weld the pieces, it would be easier to find the proper crossmember.

What do you search for on ebay: AMC, Jeep, cruise control.....?

WOW! Glad to know you are on the road to recovery. My M-I-L had a seizure last year. Her first ever - and so far only. She has been seeing a doctor and was prescribed anti-seizure meds. My wife (her daughter) found a "smart watch" that can detect seizures. My M-I-L now wears it. She was told not to drive for several weeks until her doctor told her she could. This reply is very CHOPPY. If I understand what you're saying, you cannot use the reverse light because of your head lights/hi beams. These should have nothing to do with the reverse lights. They're on completely different wiring circuits, except for the ground wire. When you move the shift fork into reverse, it closes a switch on the side of the trans that completes the wiring circuit. Back up lights should come on whether or not the lights are on.

Don’t know if this is relevant but do the reverse lights work when you put the shifter in to reverse?

Sounds like you need to take it back to the shop that did the work.

It depends on the brand of alternator. Rock Auto is good retailer. RA has great prices, even when shipping is included. As for the alternator, what brand? new or reman?

Re: cruise control box. You should go back and grab the short speedo cable that come out of the cluster and connects to the rev-counter. This part is hard to find and no longer available. If you want to add cruise control, you could grab all the wires and components: wire harness, rev counter, brake switch, clutch pedal vacuum switch (if manual), the "thingy" on the firewall that controls the throttle, the "football size" vacuum bottle (behind the front bumper), and all vacuum lines

Then you did withholdings correctly. You didn’t give them a loan. You have until July 15 to pay it.
