  1. If the truck has a manual trans, the factory gave it 3.07. If an auto, then 3.55.
  2. That’s not PC. Instead, call it “technologically challenged “
  3. Cycling
  4. General Springs leaf springs in the back. They will give you 2” to 4” in the back. Spacers or taller coil springs up front.
  5. The show Wheeler Dealers did an episode with a Morgan. It had a segment where they filmed at the Morgan plant. Looked really nice. Old school technology.
  6. Ignore it. Throw it away. Save it for posterity. You choose. I found a note on my windshield one day. I still have it. I’ve never called the number
  7. Jeep used the same wiring harness for XJs. The second connector powers a pump for the rear window washer on the XJs.

I was going to type: Hi, I am Bill. I've been an MJ owner for.... I wasn't sure how it would go over. (Oh well. I'll find out now.)

I am Bill and I own a 91 XJ. (Just kidding. I am Tim and have an 87 MJ. Although, my middle name is William and I previously owned a 91 XJ.)
  10. A client came into my office today. He asked me: "Is that your Gladiator?" AAAAAAHHHHH! I had to be nice. He pays me.
  11. "Been there, done that." My cap gave out and the engine would overheat while idling. It would cool off if moving (air flowing through radiator). The fans could not move enough air in 100* days to cool the motor. Replace the cap first. Get Volvo cap. Easiest to fix/replace and least expensive. Once you've done that, drive it around for a few minute to get it up to temp. Then park it in the driveway and leave it running. Watch the temp and look for leaks/overflow. If that fixes the overheating, you are good to go. If not, then move down the list: t-stat, radiator, etc.

    Beer

Stouts and Porter taste best when the temps are in the 50s F (10 C). The flavor of the grain and hops really comes through. At cellar temps, your mouth and taste buds are not frozen by 35 F (2 C) beer. However, not all beers should be consumed that warm. German lagers are great cold.
  13. did the owner indicate/hint it was for sale?
  14. You going to loan that out? Or take in cruise control units to test?
  15. You get a 5% royalty for every dollar I collect. 5% * $0 = $0

    Beer

I was at Flying Dog earlier this month. The home brew club I belong to has a meeting there once a year. They're really nice people there and appreciate the home brew community. Most of the people there were/are home brewers.

    Beer

I have a MoreBeer three tier brew system. I can make 10 gallons at a time (that's about 4.5 cases of 12 oz. bottles). I don't have current pictures. I brew all grain, just like the big boys of beer. I started brewing in 93 when my wife bought me a home brew kit using liquid malt extract (LME). I have tried brewing many different styles through the years, from stouts/porter, IPAs, Belgians, German lagers. I like most styles of beer (except sours, fruit, and gose). I have been brewing lagers a lot recently: pilsners, bocks and double bocks. It is a fun hobby.
