Nice Google skills with a pack of animals flare thrown in. My bad for incorrect terminology, I'm still calling my ignition control module a ignition coil pack as do alot of others. Looked for a cookie emoji for you but there isn't one Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Good looking rig, and also a fellow WA resident Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk -
Apparently nobody reads the description of what's for sale in some links. There is one amazon link for a high altiude cps with no image on the first page. Click it if your curiouse and read. Not a big deal just something I noticed that apparently the gurus and old timers around here missed. And since we're clarifying things, renix=no cam position sesor but has ignition coil/ignition coil pack to give spark to the cap/rotor. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

You got an actual question or is Huh? Just a habbit? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Your half right smarty pants, didnt realize it was a renix, just had my issues last week so was trying to help. It does have the ignition coil pack tho maybe the term is ignion coil. You going g to jump on onlyinajeep for putting up a high altitude cps link that's a brake line? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

If it keeps acting up, look into your camshaft position sensor, test your ignition coilpack, and replace cap and rotor. That's what I had to do to mine after replacing crank position sensor Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

My 19" vision x lightbar that has just under my 10k lumens only pulls 7 amps at max. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

That does look good. I like the 2 tone. Gotta find a black bumper for mine or a winch bumper Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I don't think you have to worry about one til 3", and according to their website as long as that haven't changed anything in 6 years it's made for 3-8" lift Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Those TJ flares don't look bad. If you guys ever want another mj tagging alot let know, I'm not opposed to trail cleanup/maintance either Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Looking forward to seeing how this runs. I got a quote from russ on a head a month or 2 ago. Seems like he knows a thing or 2. You getting the intake ported too? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk -
You going to lift it? I have a nearly new (rolled my xj) iron rck offroad double sheer trackbar for up to 4.5" lift of I remember right. I could make ya a deal on it if your goig to go higher Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Ya tacompton is where I'm at, right next door to fortlewis. I get the luxury of hearing the planes lol. Not very fond of it but I travel for work and am home a limited time. You going to have your mj when your here? Hard to tell if.ill be around but hit me up and we'll grab a beer atleast. Is this more along your idea? Same comanche, tailgate is from a cj5. This one needs the expanded metal atleast, or to have the openings filled. I need to move so I can have nice things and build a shop Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I was looking lastnight at truggy bed/flatbed options. I think if you were able to pull off a clean usable bed with a rollcage/hybrid exo incorporated it would be clean. The expanded metal is a great idea Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Looking good man.i remember doing the floors in mine, made me hate it and pretty much sat for the next 4 years lol one thing I learned is that there is a special autobody wire for doing thin sheetmetal. Lays a good bead without bring thru as easy and grinds like butter. You going to cage it or put the bed back on? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

No, I am going to use the same dual 231 cases. The transmission will be rebuilt with a 4WD tail housing. Most likely from Novak to convert it to the six bolt Jeep pattern. Willy Speaking of 231 doubler, how has your setup been for you? I dunno why, because I rarely go out but I've been looking at getting a toyota xtra cab to make into a wheeler, parts are cheapish and I want more room. Nobody wants to pay what I'm asking for the mj and I'll lose my butt so I'm browsing 231 doubler options Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

It doesnt look so "cheaply made" in this picture. And good looking out on the moter mount. i already changed the freeze plugs while i was in there.I know someone with one of these that they want to sell. My manifold was cracked and I replaced it with a Banks torque tube. Spendy, but I did notice a little low end improvement, then with a bored out throttle body a bigger improvement. I'm thinking of having a ported intake/head done as well as a cam of some sort Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

cody4359 replied to RustInMyEye's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Dunno, I'm not.good.with computers and other then weekends I'm working too many hours to get anything done. The template is just from 2 of the brake booster bolts for reference so I didn't have to pull it to drill/cut/weld on the drivable one. Again, I'm slow but you could pm me your address and I can see if I can get it to fit in an envelope Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk -
