  1. Thanks, it was a decent year. They are mulies
  2. The love/hate is over.... it was a hard day but I finally sold it last aug or september. I still miss it from time to time, as the quad just doesn't do the same in the snow but It was just recently replaced by a 2005 mustang GT 5sp. Not my color choice but I got it for a steal and it's grown on me
  3. Took the girlfriend over Naches trail yesterday. Once we got on the east side where it was dry I let her do the driving received_2326094777474078.mp4
  4. True true. My heep was stumbling like crazy and had two 02 sensor codes. Fond a thread from 8 years ago that pointed me in the right direction. I do t know if the older systems are the same but I merely had a blow 02 sensor fuse. Saved me close t0 $150 for the time being.
  5. I've taken the interior apart so many times that my ol fir tree clips or whatever they are called have taken a turn for the worse. I've now tried 2 sets I've found at the auto parts store and failed. Anybody have a link? Thanks
  6. Found out that with an ARB you are suppose to engage it fairly often to keep oil from creeping up the air line. Even with maybe 500 miles a year I have an oily tool box. Started the day trying to figure out how to get my locker working since the rewire last july. I left a few unneeded accessory wires coiled up from the firewall junction box. I've had the compressor wired the the rear window defroster and that has been fine. Another member with much more electrical skill than me tired his switch into a two stage, I planned on doing that but never attempted. Instead I ended up using the rear wiper control wire to engage the locker. I had to pull the air line on the diff housing and purge the oil to get it to operate. Ended up going deeper in and seeing why my new inner axleshaft seal has been leaking. Autoparts store only had d30 seals and i tried bit it would fit over the axle, upon looking harder i saw the seal housing wasn't seated square. A few taps and it's all squared up, fingers crossed because I hate putting the diff in, even with a case spreader it's a pain. 20190522_200319.mp4
  7. Looks like a s10 mud truck with a tube chassi to me. Heck Comanche of the month is dead anyways. At least naxja recognized me once in the small time frame in was a member there lol
  8. I vote fix the pans too, then coat. I did mine in 2012 I think, and for whatever reason I chose rust bullet. I think because they claim a 10 year anti corrosion. I don't drive it much but if in were to.clean it up it would still shine. Rewired the jeep last July and pans look almost just like I left them
  9. You going to keep it spread out like that or get some wheels with less offset? Don't know if you have room or like the skakeboard look
  10. Still trying to sell this thing. Had 2 serious buyers but wasn't quite ready to let it go. Took off the noisy mechanical fan and wired up the eletric fans again. Also did a re-paint on the bumpers to pretty it up. Planning on fixing the passenger inner axle seal again soon
  11. Cleared the snow off and took it to the store. Compared my stt discovery on the jeep to the at3 xlt on my daily. Think those are my new favorite tires so far. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Mud Tires

Looking for strictly offroad or a daily/weekend tire? I've heard the trail grapplers are obnoxious onroad, i can only imagine how loud the muds would be. I have Cooper stt on mine and they have treated me well on/off/snow/rain etc. I'm a Cooper fan tho, had st maxx on my ford and they treated me great for almost 70k MI in every condtion. Have you looked tat the new stt pro or st maxx? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  15. These here are a few last pics over the last year or so. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  16. Since that I still need to rewire the locker. The compressor is ran off the defrost switch now, but I saw another member on here turn the rear wiper swith into two positions, and that my next task. I did however find why my horn hasn't worked in 8 years, the clock spring was broke. Pulled one from a spare rig and got to experience remote keyless entry, a horn and cruise control finally... that short test drive turned into going to green water, the continuing up to Naches trail again only to get to the top and see my low fuel light come on. Hopped on a logging road and coasted as much of the 30 miles to whistle n Jacks lodge that I could. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  17. July 2018 I finally broke down and did a major task that I'd been wanting to do since I bought this truck and found how crummy the wiring was done. So I purchased a donor rig and got to thinning out the harness from 4dr to 2dr. Took lots of skimming a fsm pdf to figure out what wires did what but I got it done in close to 3 weeks. Added some brackets that were missing and fixed a gap I the heater core opening on the firewall. For the taillight section lengthened it, and cut the bulb sockets off 97+ taillights and jb welded them to the mj taillights so all works as it should now. The previous owner had the taillight and blinkers ran thru a trailer light harness module and it had given me 2 issues before, plus it'd hyper flash with parking lights on and using a blinker. 19. 2017 Headed to Elbe trails again. I've done all the trails there except busy wild, I did a majority of it and watch a wrangler get some nasty unavoidable body damage and turned around. This time I came up the back side and regretted it not to far in, couldn't get the back end in the right directing while in reverse. After many attempts I finally tried driving up a log and it worked, nearly cost me a tailight tho. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  20. With 10" wide wheels and even 33s I kept rubbing during small turns and crushed a few fenders corners. So one day I went and got some sheet metal and 3/4 emt conduit and bender from home depot. Flapper wheeled the galvanizing off and made these. I still like the look of stock flares but now I don't rub and still have tore coverage
  21. I've had IPF headlights on since I got it and wasn't ever super impressed. Finally I did a headlight harness upgrade and some bulbs and that made a difference. One pic is with the auxiliary lights on. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  22. Trying to clean up the wiring I added a auxiliary fuse block with a circuit breaker to run the triple fans, arb air locker, on board air and auxiliary lights Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
