The sensor in the block on the drivers side by the mount is for the ECU not the fan. The fan sensor is on the drivers side on the radiator by the outlet hose. Like others have mentioned the fan will not kick in till around 230 degrees or if you turn on the AC if you have it. From what I understand 210-215 is normal temps for the Renix 4.0, that is where both my XJ and MJ run at.

What manual is that? I have a Haynes and a Chilton and they are both correct. You must have a Chinese knock off, where some little kid got paid a quarter to copy the manual.

open end wrench thru the end of the frame rail. If your wrench is not long enough just tape an extension to it.

I thought it was 1,3,4,2 clockwise.

Does just fluid come out when you bleed them? Did you bleed the master before you put it on? Maybe your new master is bad. Are the new calipers on the correct sides so the bleeder valves are on top?

(Did this yesterday) Entered my MJ in a car show, class 7 for stock trucks. Got 4th place ;) Was only 4 trucks entered in that class :( . But I got something better then a trophy. Met a guy named Bob there and he said he use to own a 1990 Comanche and had a spare rear bumper I could have for free (was just going to throw it away :nuts: ). He went home and brought it to me. Was I surprised , this thing is straight. :D

Maybe if he had a bigger hammer it would of been easier to install. :smart: I guess the grease fitting was hard to install also.

Does this year truck have a clutch interlock switch.(will not crank if the clutch is not depressed). If yes, then could be a bad switch.

Thank you for the nice comments on the Comanche. The previous owners did a great job keeping her clean, and I am just following in their footsteps. I went to change out my valve cover gasket today and found this. Might be the cause of my leak :idea: I went to the JY and got another valve cover. I put in the $5 cork gasket, has anybody used the permadry $40 gasket and is it worth it.

Put new valve cover gasket in.

Traded my BFG MT 31's for factory 10 spokers and BFG AT 30's

Replaced my exhaust today. New cat, muffler and tailpipe. They were all from Walker. Suppose to be direct replacement and pretty much was, except that I had to cut the mounts off and reweld them on in slightly different spots. They were close but could not get the tailpipe level at the rear.
