Replaced my exhaust, (cat, muffler, tailpipe) and washed it.

The year range would make me a little nervous. But you supplied them with factory part numbers and they said they will fit. It would be nice if they had an actual photo.

I had a car totaled before and the insurance only wanted to give me $1200 for it. I went and searched Autotrader and Craigslist to show them that it was worth more. I found around 10 other like cars (mileage/condition) and printed the ads. Showed this to them and they finally settled with a price I was happy with.($2500) I also had reciepts for a lot of the parts that I replaced. Let them give you the value first and then go from there. So you could try this, if they try to lowball you, and they will. Good luck.

I'd like to see a photo of that high tech mod. Seems like a big liabilty issue if she gets in a wreck and the seat comes loose.

Looks like a Detroit TruTrac limited slip unit. I have one in my Dana 30 on my XJ and it works great.

I don't think a lift would cause this, unless they did a transfer case drop. Could be that the linkage needs greasing or there is a problem in the transfer case. Just my guess, I have a 89 XJ with 4 1/2 inch lift and no problems shifting the transfer case.

Thats sounds pretty serious. Did they put stints in. Take it easy and get well.

I bought an XJ one here in phoenix for $220 complete drum to drum that I put into my 89 XJ. I would say if it was an MJ dana 44 housing it might be worth it. Just my thoughts.

You have to be careful and do research on parts for your truck. Alot of parts places sell Cherokee items and think they also fit our Comanches. Pretty much Cherokee parts fit from the cab foward, but from the bed back to the rear it's Comanche only (such as fuel tank/sender, axle, springs, bumpers) If you are not sure just post it up here and someone will let you know, These guys really know thier trucks. I have learned so much from this site.

How much are they asking for it. $200 or less would be a good deal. The Trac-lock is a limited slip that has clutch plates that wear out, but can be rebuilt.

I didn't know they made a rear bumper for the Comanche. Did you get one for a Cherokee, then you will have to adapt it for your truck. Any photos of the bumper and its mounts.

It is on the drivers side of the head back by the firewall, next to the valve cover. Has one wire that pushes on.

When you say it won't start, do you mean it will not crank over(like the starter is bad) or it cranks over but does not run (like no fuel or spark).
