  1. Looks like a lot of fun. Cool video.
  2. How did you add water if the cap was on? I leave the cap off and add coolant as it is running, also have the heater on. (closed system)
  3. I don't think there is a relay for that. 1. Make sure you have 12 volts at the lights (pink wire). 2. Did you check your bulbs to make sure they are good. 3. Clean the roller contacts on the dome lights.
  4. Here is a replacement light. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Com ... ccessories
  5. Can you post up a picture of it?
  6. I installed Spidertrax 1.25 inch wheel spacers. Before After Before After The tire is still under the flare.
  7. Came across this guy while out four wheeling, his wheel spacer failed and as you can see his tire came off. The spacer was not hubcentric and was just plain aluminum, not anodized. Where the lugnuts go was all wallowed out, not sure if they were loose or if it was just soft aluminum. Not saying the ones you are getting are bad, but make sure they are made out of the correct alloy, and your truck is looking good.
  8. This site cracks me up, :rotfl2: they sell quarter panels for the 4 door Comanche pick up http://www.andysautosport.com/jeep/1984 ... s/sherman/ or you can get a hood for your 92-96 F Series Jeep comanche. http://www.andysautosport.com/jeep/1984 ... hannemann/
  9. Was looking at the pictures and did not see them :???: , Then noticed the switches for them on the dash. Good eye.
  10. Do you have a volt meter? Measure the battery voltage on the battery posts when you are trying to start it. It should be more then 11 volts, if it drops below and doesn't crank over, the battery is either bad or does not have a full charge. If it measures good at the battery, measure at the the far end of the battery cables, to see if the cables might be bad. I have seen intermittent bad cables, they look fine but have a bad connection inside at the terminal ends. Hope this helps. I would say the ignition switch is good if you hear the starter relay clicking.
  11. It's Alive. Looks like it is breathing. Would think your missing some bolts or they are just loose.
  12. Here are some of his other videos. 4ThV0-07U10&feature vJfvr5dtxao&feature
  13. Yes, just more volume. Take pics so we can see how good it works.
  14. It is your cruise control module. I was wondering what it was when I first saw mine on the XJ.
  15. I own a HF one, it is at least 15 years old, No leaks and still works good. I would not recommend one from what I have read about them now days. I think it all depends on what kid put them together and the quality of steel they used that day. I have never used it without jackstands. Never really trusted it from day one, but the thing won't die. If you can afford to get a better quality one, that would be the way to go. Like others have said, at least get really good quality jackstands. I always lower the jack so the jackstands take the weight.
  16. Don't know if this is really for an MJ. Just found it on Ebay, it is ending soon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=80739
  17. Happy Birthday.
  18. In the 88 Comanche electrical book,on pages 56 and 59 it shows that the blue/white is Dim Display Input on pin 11 and the orange /black is the Display Backlighting Lamps on pin 10. The link for this manual is on this site somewhere. Very good manual to have and again I thank whoever posted it. I found the link. Worth printing out and keep in your truck. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12734&hilit=electrical+manual
  19. Welcome and great story. Thats a deal for $500 and you drove it home. Looking foward to seeing your restoration.
  20. Nice looking truck. Like the lift/tire combo. Welcome.
  21. Do you care to share how much you paid? Paid $430. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. It's my new baby. I just recently sold my 1953 Ford F100 that I owned for 30 years. (was made an offer I couldn't refuse)
  22. OE= original equipment, as in from the factory
  23. Look at it this way. He thought he was buying a case of beer, because the picture showed a case of beer. But when he got it, it was only a half case of cheap beer. The company won't let him return it and get his money back, only give a small discount. He still wants a full case of beer.
  24. All I know is that you want your bleed screw towards the top, so the air will come out when you bleed it. Not an engineer either, just an ex-grease monkey.
  25. I did the herculiner on an F150 I had and it turned out pretty good, But did not last long,( poor prep work from me) I want to try to keep this MJ in great shape so I went with the better bed liner. If it was one I was going to take 4wheeling alot I probably would have done the herculiner again and put the money into better offroad parts.
