You can try the water bottle trick to stiffen up broken seat belt holders. Water bottles are pete-1 plastic which is very susceptible to heat. Cut the top and bottom off the bottle, slide it over the buckle receiver and use a hair dryer or heat gun. The plastic continues to shrink and contours the item inside the bottle. Use a pete-1 bottle that is close in diameter to the buckle receiver. A bottle too big will not shrink down enough to contour the belt + buckle. I found that a standard water bottle works great. This only works on pete-1 bottles. This will not work at all on the other common hdpe bottles that are used for milk, detergents etc.

You know, I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it. The concept of impossibly huge fenders instead of just a separate bed is a foolish one. This is the same problem rivian has with their pickups and the absurd cost of rear fender repair. The design language seems to be very rivian like, and makes me doubt this is from anyone other than rivian.

A bloke on reddit revealed what appears to be the "slate auto" prototype truck. It is likely nothing other than a shell with wheels, which is common for first prototypes (the bmw i3 did this, and many others). I found it through the autopian which is an excellent publication. I can't help but notice the striking similarity to the Comanche. The slightly larger cab bump. The front rectangular grill with the side lights. The incredibly boxy and simple design. More importantly: Stellantis, wake up someone's going to out Jeep you!

Standard Motor Products is still located in LongIsland City, NY, which is quite nuts considering how expensive real estate is in the Queens NY area. I emailed them about the the Standard SG21 O2 sensor for Renix, and they actually responded to my email within a day saying they no longer manufacturer it.

Cool! I was planning on doing the same thing to mine as the rear inner wheel well fender parts were missing. The aftermarket wheel liners feel like they are vacuum formed where as the originals were a different kind of rubber. I plastic welded the cracks in my front oem wheel liners with wire mesh and a soldering iron. If you have any more photos let me know! Thanks!

Wow. I think part of my bed side is like that. I did the good ol magnet test and there is very little attraction for a good few inches. Looks Like I'll need a screwdriver too
