I ran across a MJ Longbed tonneau cover from s10 longbed on marketplace but it's manufactured in 1998. It's a snap style cover with rails. It's 27 years old, $150. Part of me thinks its a really dumb idea to grab this when I can get a $320 access tonneau that's newly manufactured. Any fabric / rubber parts will certainly be long in the tooth. Would you guys bother with the old one or grab a new one? Thanks

It turns out my bumper is a Hercules Bumper that looks incredibly similar to the Fey Westin 63000. Hercules made standard utility style bumpers in the states that were decently chunky. Hercules is no longer in operation. I may just get a new Westin 63000, but I'm curious what anyone has locally. Thanks!

I just followed this guide. old motor was taking 3.3a while on low setting. New motor consumed 1.2a while on low setting. I think I either repacked too much grease in the old motor or the fat lady was singing and I gave her the microphone

You are in littleton, CO I would Highly recommend you just visit your Denver, CO Microcenter. Microcenter prices are often the same as amazon or less, and are local and accessible. The staff are usually knowledgeable. It is an incredibly useful store. Need to pickup 3d printer filament? No problem! Need a soldering iron, solder wick, solder, crimps, connectors, fuses etc... They have it. It is nice to be able to feel and use the laptop you are interested in before purchase. A lot of the cheap plastic laptops have very mushy and short travel keyboards. Microcenter has a larger selection of laptops than bestbuy and you can actually try them out. There's no multi-week wait time that HP and dell love to pull at online checkout when you order something other than the most mass produced pre-selected machine. Go for it!

Yeah. Front loading washing machines also have filters that become absolutely nasty and clogged if you do not regularly service them. Also, if you use one of those brita water pitchers, make sure to replace the filter on a regular cycle like the manual says. If you do not, enjoy wonderfully terrible mold growth on your replaceable filter which leads to months of stomach discomfort. It is really crooked that brita did not mention that this can be a side effect, instead they just state "trust me bro" in the literature.

I'm pretty sure I used Auveco # 11146 and just trimmed the head a bit to slide into the groove. The back plastic fits snug.

Woah it's back! This is super cool of you to offer. I paid $100 for a beat up one and after looking around and finding out it would take $100+ of epoxy and fiberglass to fix it and many hours of my time, I decided to look again and settled on a more usable used one for $150. $350 is really a pretty reasonable figure here considering its a finished product, all you have to do is install it and just shipping a box this size automatically incurs an oversized box fee.

For comparison's sake, Mutiny, a company that specializes in robust adapters for the cinema industry, 3D prints many of their smaller parts using a combination of pa6-cf / pa12-cf and fuzzy skin. It is truly incredibly what you can 3d print these days. Thanks to boxy jeep for making these available!
