  1. I believe this is what you want https://www.ebay.com/itm/314542876381 confirmed part: https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts/mopar-tee-heater-hose-return~52003248.html
  2. Oof. Sorry I won't be at my comanche for another 2 weeks. I may have a photo though, let me sift through my photosets and get back to you.
  3. Aww man, that's awesome! It's too bad jeep doesn't have a historical society for old promo materials like this
  4. I went with the 97+ door seals from precision seals. I only tried them on my driver door so far, but my data point is not a useful one. My driver door was sagging from cracking around the hinges. I had to level my door and re-weld the door hinges. It sits nicely now, but I unfortunately bent the top part of the door window frame in efforts to improve door sealing before the welding process. The driver door has an annoying bounce after the precision seals, but I noticed re-bending the window frame outward makes the door stop bouncing when closed. I don't like having to slam a door either, so I've been using 8.5x11 paper to gauge my door seals. I slightly bend the window frame outwards, close the door and check that a page does not easily slide between door seal and door jam. It's not a super precise method, but it seems to be working. My door now does not bounce anywhere near as much. I have not bent the window frame back enough that I like it, but it's close. I'm waiting for warmer weather to straighten out my door window frame.
  5. Oh man. Operation Cherry Pies Are Delicious Operation Cherry Pie Recovery Operation C=2pi*r Good luck with the restoration! Your youtube series is fantastic!
  6. Aww yeah! Medium Bronze Metallic crew checkin in! It really seems to be a uncommon color, and it's neat to see one in nice shape! Following along on youtube, will be neat to see your restoration process
  7. In case you are wondering, the tube is made of 3in OD DOM steel tubing. It is exactly 3in OD. That's what I had to get to repair and weld up my rollbar. THe repair is nice and flush. The wall thickness is 0.095in. Thick enough in my book
  8. Keep looking! That or ask @strictlyxjsHe has an incredibly good eye for finding these! I grabbed it the day before vermont had a tremendous rainstorm. 8in of rain in one day. Crazy!
  9. Someone clearly has not seen the MJs Earning Their Keep thread I should make a magnetic QR code for the above thread. Slap it onto the side of the comanche so folks passing by can see what real trucks do
  10. Fine furniture indeed
  11. Aww yeah! Was looking forward to the updates
  12. That thing is definitely built up like a beast. Congrats!
  13. Good eye! That one needs to be saved. Dang. Two of my automotive favorites: Excellent Jeep cherokee / comanche content https://www.youtube.com/@WAEMIDIV/videos Incredibly detailed Landrover repairs from a very witty german family: https://www.youtube.com/@Vera_and_Christian
  14. Those are what nightmares are made of Wow!
  15. Lookin good! I should throw an 8.25 with discs under mine one day to replace the stock D35. one day...
  16. It's fair to say all the folks on comanche club hope the value of these trucks will go up over time, and I think they surely will. If I was in your position, I would hold onto the comanche and enjoy it for another few years, drive it to local car shows, school homecoming parades, local events etc.. Then the summer your son graduates highschool I'd sell it to put the funds toward his college education. If you are in an area away from tornadoes and hurricanes, this is what I'd do. Also, I can't imagine any mother-in-law being mad selling a car to fund education. My 2c.
  17. Wow. It even has the mudflaps. Dang. If you want to maximize the amount you will get from this and want it to sell quickly, I would list it on bring a trailer. However, before you do, consider finding this trim piece circled in the attached photo. I think some guys on the forum had some for sale at one point. You can have a guy at a detail shop attach it or do it yourself. 3M makes double-sided trim mount adhesive strips which would probably be a good fit.
  18. Cool. Good luck with it. The lotus Elise and honda s2k crowd seem to like it.
  19. That rocker panel repair looks excellent! Nice work.
  20. What does CR and CRL mean?
  21. Interesting! It sure looks good in the comanche dash, but I wish it was a bit more polished of a product. I'm personally hoping one of the Japanese electronics giants hops on board the single DIN express and delivers a fully featured radio with well tested software for the old school car crowd. Perhaps if enough of these sell, it will stir the pot . Fingers crossed.
  22. My turn signal stalk is a bit weak as well but still works. I don't know if that's normal or just wear from being 37 years old. Curious what you find.
  23. I don't have one at the moment :/ Cheapest new booster (no brand): $48.55 (make offer) https://www.ebay.com/itm/126053094542 Cheapest new SKP SK5474071: $89.95 https://www.ebay.com/itm/305024134821 Used 97-01 XJ dual diaphragm booster (genuine) ~$71 (make offer) https://www.ebay.com/itm/256722993889 These are all cheaper than rockauto and amazon. The biggest gotcha I had to deal with when installing a new booster was the booster rod was not adjusted from factory. You need to adjust it or else it will be fully seated and never engage with the master cylinder and thus you will have no brakes even with a new part.
