short adj. arms/drop brackets < long arms every time in my mind. i don't care how much flex you get, it still looks retarded with that bracket hanging down like a little wall. I'm sure it'd be cheaper that route, i can't bring myself to do it.

shackles and coil spacers for lift and wheel spacers for width

you should be good with your stock arms at 2.5", if you need new ones just buy some adjustable ones so if you want to go higher you can. but i guess you can put long arms on anything you want to and maybe an upgrade in the shock department would help with that ride on a side note, I'm going to buy the RK three link set up. can't wait for it to go on! then its only new muffler/header, front aussie, rear 44, some used 33s and I'm goin somewhere to wheel the wheels off it

damn and i just sprayed a little PB on it and grabbed some vice grips

all i know is buy adjustable lower arms. all the 4' or so fixed ones ive seen never postion the axle center under the front. plus it gives you the option of throwing a spacer in there no worries. also mine hits on the mount part you are talking about and they are bent, not straight. i thought about grinding but 4.5 lift still flexes pretty good so i don't see that little extra doing THAT much for you id also ditch that bar and go for the other but thats just me

besides the fact that RC are a bunch of rednecks. their stuff is good just make sure you get it all the first time or be prepared for ignorance. i mean i live an hour or so from Dyersburg, TN (where RC is located) and no one acts as country as they do. not talking sh*t, just saying from how my purchase went with them. thankfully i went through Hell Creek so i only had to talk to them myself three times not including emails. however Hell creek just makes rear leaf springs, the rest of the kit is rough country. sooo just go through hell creek and call it a day. tom should take care of you oh yeah, stay away from their trac bar. i broke my first one and the second broke the codder pin and stripped out the adj. end of the bar. needless to say i now run a rock krawler one and I'm sure itll be my last one. then again if you don't go wild off road you should be good with RCs Edit: okay i thought about that and not all of them are rednecks but the guy i did talk to, was. -

thats the very sensor that i took out thinking it was the CTS for the gauge swap but wasnt. i don't remember what. it fell apart in my hands and had like a blue gel around it. i said f*ck it and plugged it back in bare metal and all oh and sorry about your ride :fs1: -
ugly. what the hell is with the fourth half door. why not just another whole opening door. pointless. i hate everything about that.........thing

damn thanks guys. you've really thrown down some good points. I'm still leaning towards the TNT or RK 3 link. i just stumbled across another guy with the RK kit on here and it seems to be good. those brackets do hang down a bit though and I'm not really worried about sliding around on those long arms. as beefy as they are i think they'll be able to handle it. however now i have a chance to snag a Mj for cheap with only a bad slave cylinder. so if i do that, no more long arms for my trail rig :( but at least ill have a clean new Mj to drool over

see i knew i should of went with 265s instead of 31s but i guess not having to buy rims for the 31s did it. nice truck and even better name

i hate to say it but I'm sure thats how my d30 will go  also, damn 150 miles! surely theres a JY with a 30 sitting around. have you cruised CL yet? theres always someone selling something jeep

you guys have speakers in your doors :hmm: :D i assume my originals are still in there just never looked. i just took the wire out and ran it to the back of the cab into a box. makes for no non-sense door removal

its funny since the front ends are Cherokees you'd think people would know but then again the truck bit does throw you off for a second if your not used to it. Welcome to the club man!

yup they do have a lifetime warranty. thats part of the reason i started to buy their stuff. i mean if they're willing to do that, it HAS to be solid stuff. i thought about the iron rock again ever since that guy posted a thread about them. seems solid too and not at a bad price either. still, I'm thinking of the TNT customs long arms a Mj owner here has done. looks great, flexes great, seems to hold up great. well, thats the pickle I'm in. i wish more of you guys had long arms so i could get a owners opinion. i go extreme in my Mj everytime offroad so something that'll take a beating and flex like crazy will be my goal. guess i could always go to cherokee forum and ask :ack: cause i know they have plenty of members running long arms.
-
yup, long arms. ive finally got some cash back in the Mj pot and thats what I'm after. so whats a good company to go with? i was leaning towards Rock Krawler seeing as i have some of their stuff already; however, I'm open to any suggestions or comments. so throw them out there!

ive always hated the way newer cars are looking. pretty soon you won't be able to tell a chevy from a honda from a benz. makes me sick. how about some originality people, damn. but then again i guess they think they are being original by coming up with these monstrosities :ack:
-
ill be up that way soon but i don't think I'm driving this time. if my plans to go to the Rubicon still go through ill be there for sure on my way to good ole Canada. can't wait to see the west coast side of both countries.

let it rape my wallet for gas money. soon he'll get long arms and a new trac bar thrown off on there. not to mention new ball joints too and then can you say 1 ton steering set up  and i wonder where my money goes sometimes :shake: but hey do it right the first time and there won't be a second
-
hey i ordered some stuff from them and had no problems. they didnt claim it as their own or make me wait forever. though shipping did take longer then i thought but like mentioned, there was a holiday thrown in the mix.

i don't know how far you are from me but i could really use that steering box -
well how about this. i constantly go extreme in mine and flex it allllllll the way out on a daily basis. everytime i do my vacuum hose comes off. i never put it back on and i can still shift from 4wheel to 2. so I'm guessing that when i first put it in 4wheel, the hose came off, so basicly moved the fork over in 4wheel and since my hose came off, its like i did that mod already?? has to be. makes no sense otherwise  sorry to :hijack:

personally i just don't want you internet people to know who i actually am. i mean i don't know you. with my plate info you can find out who i am and where i live. god knows what else really. i always make sure to never list anything in or with detail. so yes, paranoia
