33s will fit the rim but will they be good for the lift your going to run is my thing. I'm on 4.5 lift and 33s are my logic but would prolly leave little flex room. 31s would flex it out but look small on that lift. and hell 32s cost more then either but would prolly be the proper size. i guess for me (sorry to hijack) its about money in the end. so even if 33s are a tad big, its cheaper.

i hope you bought a "big @$$ beer" on the street. can't remember how much but it was just funny to walk around with. mid-town is really where Memphis is. all sorts of people, all sorts of food. downtown is just for the tourists and 1AM house parties on the river. just let me know next time

not too shabby :brows: thats a long way to go for a manche though. and theres prolly one sitting right around the corner who did the floor pan repair? -
look at it pretty much. youll know once your in there if you have any problems. changing diff oil is a very easy thing to do. just fill it up until it pours back out, then plug. id paint up the ole cover while your at it. gives it a nice look about it :D i also use the red RTV and have had no problems. i did wait a night before putting in the new oil though to let it cure.

thanks. I'm also thinking about throwing on some ACOS spacers. raise that front end a little more. after that I'm sure ill have to get some :chillin: and yeah bumpers would be nice. glad ive got a guy helping me out with that
-
thanks guys  i seriously am thinking about getting some adjustable ones. you know whats good? the drive shaft length seems fine, i wouldnt go any higher though. the front is good and could go more but the rear couldnt handle much more.
-
i seriously doubt it could be the springs. I'm thinking it has to do with something up front. ill take it to the shop for an alignment and if it persists,,, i guess we'll start knocking stuff off the list. it was level before the lift. a lean like this you notice. and ill go get those measurements. i think they were like twenty eight and a quarter or so and twenty seven or so. something like that. ill hit it again though

hmmm. bummer. :fool: i never tried it with the bottom spring on. i just went for the four out right. wasnt it you though that said someone else was running the same as me, with the bottom load spring missing? did they have the same problem? i didnt think about the gas tank thing. seems like it could contribute.

i used the rough country/hell creek 4.5. i didnt align the steering after. the springs were equal in length and i used a shackle on the rear with them. i just can't figure this one out. and since i guess you guys havent seen my build thread as of late,,,,, GO CHECK IT OUT!@!!! lol viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24487&start=30

okay so i lifted my MJ and now it has a lean to the drivers side about an inch difference from the pass. i thought it was just the front drooping but its the whole drivers side. do i need to adjust anything up front? the only thing i have adjusted is the track bar. could that be it or maybe the steering? the control arms not long enough? i mean i have no clue. this was my first lift and getting everything on there was fine, so i have no clue why it would lean. any thoughts, comments apperciated  thanks

I'm looking for some MJ bros to wheel with in West Tennessee and Northeast-ish Arkansas. maybe go to Nashville, Hot Springs, Eureka Springs, where ever theres a good place to wheel. no dates in mind, just looking to see if theres anybody out there. thanks

i was digging for about thirty minutes and luckly found two batteries that worked. so here you go pic whores! stock control arm vs. rough country 4.5 in the sky its slightly leaning to the drivers side. don't know why. any thoughts anyone???? its only in the front, the rear end is level. rear set up, went with the one inch mark on the lift shackles to make up for the leaf spring i took off. front setup rough country sway bar discos soon to be installed rough country extended lines overall pretty easy install. can't say enough for Hell Creek customer serivce or the quailty of the springs. great  I'm sure Tom got tired of seeing my emails rolling in but he answered every one asap and sent out my order as fast as he could. (prolly so id stop emailing lol) on the other hand rough country was good too but lacking compared to HellCreek. they did take care of me and my bent track bar issue but it took quite a few calls. thank god i live only hours away so my stuff got here in a day. the kit is good too. seems to be pretty tuff. however the coils came in silver which i wasnt happy about but hey they got painted anyway so f**k it. i did have to bend my hardline in the rear so id have slack in the brake line. havent mounted it up right only with zip ties but they seem to hold just fine. if anybody has any ?s or would like photos ill be glad to help. I'm going to post a pic of me next to it just so you can get a ride height idea. its a decent height to me, now only if i had 33s on there lol

alright so, i finished the inside. three coats of POR. i didnt paint over it with anything but I'm not worried. window tint is in the near future anyway trimmed and painted both front fenders to my liking. i repainted that last side, so thats out dated now finaly, i bought the 4.5 rough country/hell creek lift. didnt get a picture of the springs. which i should of taken a few photos of me taking off the bottom load leaf and the difference between the two, with and without. it really is about an inch difference. i could take pics of them now but the lift is already on. no pics of that cause my batteries are dead in the camera. ill take care of that tomorrow though ;) one last photo of the stock manche

havent updated in awhile. trying to keep my progress on the DL. :dunno: should of taken more pics, a LOT more but oh well. i guess when your on a roll working, you don't think about it as much. ill post what ive got later also i did apply more POR15 to the underside of the cab when i did all that. id suggest buying the gallon though

i was about to say, i wonder how long your going to let your daughter drive it once you get in there and start working on it  it looks like you've got a good foundation to start with but then again we haven't seen what that salts done underneath. whats it got in it? 4.0, auto, 2wd?

all these standard bumpers!!! :fs1: not one off-road one. I'm thinking some companies are missing out on some sells here. maybe not much but i know more then a few would fly off the shelves. or how about you shade tree guys who've already made one or two for yourselfs. you should already know you've got a buyer right here

Hell Creek 3" rear springs rough ride question??
SW86 replied to knever3's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i just popped off my bottom leaf and man it really was about an inch difference. i guess if you want that inch back just throw on some adj. shackles though. hope this gives me the look and ride i want cause i pretty much f**ked up the threads on my bolt, so putting the bottom leaf back on won't happen unless i buy new bolts. plus it looks as if youll have to cut off some of it for it to fit right under the axle. ill find out for sure soon enough ;)
