theres a few members here who should help you out on the rear bumper. i hope the guy i talked to still will do mine when i have the cash again. just go look at some build threads find one that kind of what you like and send them a message with your ideas. they may help out or not but its worth a shot. good luck!

another small update. diff guard! its not quite what i was expecting. i figured it'd be taller and a tighter fit but for less than a hundy, i guess its okay. ill throw some rocks and logs at it and i'll go from there opinion wise. right now though, I'm not happy too with it.

when people talk $#!& about your "80s technology truck" cause it can go further down the trail :D
-
i would of stopped and asked about it. who cares about a 9 hour drive when it would of only taken five minutes to check out a bitchin MJ! but yeah loose that orange light/roll bar and it would be one sweet manche

ive got a plexi one too :D but the a-hole before me screwed it in, instead of well,,,, ANY OTHER WAY! lol sucks too cause i always reach to open it. and JeepcoMJ, on mine the slider its self broke. the outer two panes are good. if you've got one for decent price, ill buy it. plus ive got to re-seal my back glass anyway

how many cranks before it starts?
SW86 replied to MJ86YJ90's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yup mine does it about four times too and i always turn my key on first before i start. pretty much just wait for the last "click" or noise, before attempting to turn it on. -
my slider glass broke and i don't know what to do short of having someone cut a piece for it.

easy to drive, easy to mod, easy to off-road. they are good rides all the way around. parts are cheaper and more widely avaliable. don't see why anybody wouldnt like them. snap some pics when he does get one

hahaha mine came with one thrown on there. what a p.o.s. but it worked. for a little while anyway. i bought a new pressure bottle from Quadratec and gas mainly. tires, wheels and header coming very soon. two of those today maybe :brows: ah and a new TAN (not sparkly brown) window crank! itll make my life a lot easier

its an american racing rim. but would it fit fine? my tires are falling apart on me now but i need new rims first! i was going to order them today, already have the tires picked out.
-
so if i get a 16x8 rim with 5' back spacing i should be good?
-
i know the bolt pattern is 5x4.5 and i want to run a 16 inch at least but what about back spacing?

you want to hear sick. here in Memphis just recently a 15 yrd boy raped a 23 month old girl he was babysitting. i mean what the @#$%. made me sick.

SW86 replied to Carl'sMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
^^^^ LOL!!! id go to a muffler shop and have them make one up to the muffler then flowmaster it with a turn down right after. -
thanks guys. I'm not looking to spend a lot on the headers but if i have to, i will. know what i mean. I'm just too tired from work today, so tomorrow after work ill hit it hard to figure this out. thanks for all the tips :D

i went back through and checked everything. its all tight. I'm seriously thinking that clicking noise i have (posted a vid some time ago) is my track bar. everytime i turn it does it. so i tightened it down again, it slightly went away but it still there. and its a new track bar too. ill just have to go back through everything again to figure out the DW issue also what about these headers? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Che ... ccessories the same as on Motion off road but cheaper.

i towed mine the other day with the trans and transfer both in neutral. the front driveshaft still was spinning.
-
i spy another jeep in that picture. only if it would of been in the line-up.

well got my exhaust welded up but my mainfold has a hair crack in it. so i figured just go out and buy a header. however prices arent all the same and neither is quality. anybody know a good header thats not insanely high priced??? after i got that "fixed", while driving i got insane death wobble. i was going to get it alinged but the guy swore up and down that getting it alinged wouldnt help, so i didnt. ive always thought it was the bad ball joints and mentioned that and he said it may very well be. so where do i get GOOD new ball joints. i could just go to auto zone but idk how good all that stuff is they carry. any thoughts anyone? i know someone has had to of done it. to sum it all up. A. where do i buy a low priced but good header? B. where can i get some good new ball joints? thanks

not a huge update but it feels good to be able to turn full lock now easiest mod ive done so far. the stock lines would of been fine if i lowered them an inch or so but hey when in rome right. havent taken it to the shop yet, but come tuesday ill have new exhuast, steering aligned and radiator flushed. i adjusted my steering wheel after i did the brakes. thats another EASY thing to do.
