  1. Thank you guys very much After a couple weeks with the D44 I can say I’m very happy with it. Also probably the slowest racehorse there putting down a 17.25 in the 1/4mile…
  2. The ones in the picture you quoted look like chrome versions of the anniversary wheels/ 5.9 wheels, but as NHMJXJ said I have chrome ravine wheels
  3. Well I’ve gotten all my lawnmowers on the side of the road lol, I think I’ve had 13 or 14 roadside finds so far this one’s my latest find, picked it up yesterday
  4. Wowza this is very clean, Interesting it’s 4wd I thought I remembered reading in a dealer book that 4x4 wasn’t available in a diesel MJ, but it was only 4x4 in xj’s… Either way amazing find, hope it makes it on the forum someday
  5. Thank you Pete, more chrome is always good, now I just need to find the impossible bottom strip and polish/get a top strip
  6. @Minuit Calling the Radio master in
  7. Finally the D44 has been installed, over the last week my Dad and I set up the gears, and then installed it in the garage just in time for the truck to drag race. We didn’t do amazing on the strip, but before the track got closed way early, I ran a 17.2 in the 1/4, I hope next event after a little more drive time with the new axle I’ll be able to get in the 16’s with a good launch and maybe some shorter tires. I was mainly at the strip for the truck meet and it made my day to not only beat my buddy in the liberty, but also to take home the best Jeep award. Finally yesterday the D44 got some good use after we got 2 loads around 2000lbs each of bricks. It was an experience for sure Edit: After counting and weighing the bricks it came out to 3400ish lbs with me and my dad in the truck PER TRIP. So over 6000 lbs of bricks in total
  8. The last 3 days have been all MJ 1st we got the D44 with 4.10s and a limited slip put in Then the next day I went to a Truck show, won an award and drag raced my truck Then finally the following day I picked up 2 loads of bricks and they sagged the metric ton springs out pretty good, guessing somewhere around 4000lbs all together
  9. Yesterday with 2 full loads of bricks Those metric ton springs got nice and low Edit, measured and counted the bricks, came out to 3400lbs per trip with me and my dad in the truck A little bit heavy
  10. As long as your parked on flat ground it shouldn’t be under load, the swaybar only goes under load when on uneven surfaces, so if you want to jack if you you’ll have to do so from the middle of the axle and ensure it’s level, on my xj I have quick connects and as long as the ground is somewhat flat they go on and off no problem.
  11. I’m excited to see where this goes, here’s my pictures of it from when I went to go see it
  12. My favorite is the Comanche Eliminator, that name wouldn’t make it off the ground nowadays
  13. I think those are more for maintaining a shine, once it goes so far you need a kit like this https://www.harborfreight.com/14-piece-aluminum-polishing-kit-98707.html this Is similar to the one I used, each compound Is for different materials
  14. I went to harbor freight and picked up a cheap polishing pad set that goes on a drill and it works wonders on stuff like this, polished a lot on my rear bumper, and I tested a spot on my bare aluminum wheels and it worked amazing, it cost 11$ for the pads and 7$ for the polish

Hell I’d still want that rear bumper, I’m sure that’s somewhat repairable
  16. Definitely aftermarket, the rear supports connect to the side of the bar on the factory one not the top.
  17. if your not paying attention it’s really easy to misalign them, definitely not uncommon to see a cluster swap
  18. These 2 are off 2 different 91 xj Laredos, probably sold MJ’s too
  19. Thank you for the quick response!! Good catch with the marchal lights, I think they were dealer installs since I didn’t see it on the build sheet.
  20. I’ve always carried a full size spare in mine, it’s great insurance just in case, these are 31’s and Imo it looks awesome to me to see another 31 10.5 mt sticking out. also pro tip if you care about how the spare wheel you carry looks, face it up so the winch end and rocks/road debris don’t mess it up, the sidewalk of the tire will hold the face off the bed.
  21. This is my potential parts truck, it’s a 91 2dr Laredo with almost every option except sunroof or overhead console.
  22. Here’s what my xj 44 with factory lsd looks like you can see the clutches hiding just behind the spiders
  23. Was it this 616 swap your thinking of cause This is what I was thinking of Edit 617 as well And another one
  24. Yesterday My parents and I figured out how to operate the cricut vinyl cutting machine and we cut tailgate letters for my Comanche as a test. I Have also been towing with it more lately planning on a bigger trip up north towing soon so I am trying to get a feel for it. This is about the maximum weight I’d tow with my truck in its current configuration, trailer brakes or 4.10’s are going to be the next improvement for towing but then we can bump it up to the full 5000 guestimating in the picture here we are between 3600 and 4000 lbs
