  1. I know most zj’s and wj’s came with 242’s, they will have a different spline than the renix one would tho
  2. Today I modified a CPS per Cruisers website to great success, it’s got a noticeable amount of pep increased and no knocks as of yet I definitely would recommend a CPS advance/high altitude CPS for anyone with a Renix link for anyone interested: https://cruiser54.com/?p=127
  3. A little late I am, but I ran canyons on my xj with 32’s and they did pretty good, plus they looked good in the bronze color I painted them in Also ravine wheels run exactly the same width and backspacing so here’s what they look like with 31x10.5(black MJ) and 33x10.5’s(green xj)
  4. My Truck definitely came with the top diamonds in chrome, my dad took off all of them when he had the truck, and I couldn’t find the upper ones when I put the others back As for your question, in the dealer book it shows pioneers coming standard with map pockets and the base not even having the option for them Also on the inside of the door card it’s stamped Pioneer/Chief 4drxj so I’m assuming that they only used them on those ( I believe they also used them on eliminators as well as possible some other models)
  5. Wow fantastic job with it, it looks really great, definitely a very useful addition
  6. This will also help with identification https://www.blueovaltrucks.com/tech-articles/identify-your-ford-truck-axle-from-the-door-sticker/
  7. I think it’s something like 96-01 explorers have them, just make sure to google what they look like to confirm you have it, and it should have an axle tag on it to tell you the ratio on it, although sometimes they can be missing.
  8. Depending on the application different Cherokee's and Comanches got different gear ratios here's a chart my dad made for it about 2 decades ago: Also a common swap for a rear axle is an explorer 8.8 and those come with 4.10’s pretty often
  9. This truck is seriously awesome Thank you for taking your time and posting about applying the decals, great job with it so far, I’m definitely taking notes for applying them to my Chief
  10. Wow it’s really coming along great, loving the old J-Truck build so far And That fleetside bed came out awesome, someone is gonna get a great bed on their truck
  11. That contrast on the bright red really makes the interior pop It looks great
  12. ^ This is very true
  13. Thank you guys, I agree. It really gives it that older truck feel

    Inspiration.

Fuel mileage out of an MJ Now that’s a good one
  15. 91-99 4.0 cylinder heads bolt directly on and have considerably better flow, the 91-2006 intake manifolds are also better, 91-99 being regular high output intakes and the 99-06 being horseshoe with a bigger plentum 99/2000 depending on the application was the start of the small exhaust port heads so for power I’d avoid those all this being said to put on a Ho intake you should have the head to go with it or your ports will not line up, and you will also need to adapt your tps and delete egr. Other things that’ll help is a Regearing of your axles or Bored out throttle body

  17. No problem, these are them, can’t vouch for their quality, I’ve never bought these ones, they are just the first ones that came up https://www.amazon.com/Omix-Ada-17470-17-Radiator-Isolator/dp/B00G2RKDVG/ref=asc_df_B00G2RKDVG/? To find that I just typed in jeep 4.0 rubber radiator mount
  18. Wasn’t specifically for sale but I think you can call and ask about it if you’d like, it’s at Webbers
  19. The frame on this tan one was perfect, along with the body, the only problem was the front seats were ripped
  20. It holds the radiator from flopping around in the open space, definitely something not to go without
  21. My latest adventure this was the third 4 runner here, no rust, eng and trans good and all 3 between 90k and 150k miles. One of them made it to the next life while I was there Cool old truck I saw there too
  22. Interesting didn’t know that, I figured it was a running change they did, good to know Thank you
  23. Thank you, I think it was a later model thing, instead of getting metric ton on the tailgate, they got it on the back window. Not 100% on that so if someone knows feel free to correct me
  24. @SoCalJeepComancheHave you considered doing the big ton sticker, I know I’d be all over those.
