  1. eBay
  2. Me too, the more chrome the better Sadly I think they will just be silver like the covers they make now
  3. 87-90, in 91 they changed the fuel rail design
  4. How is the serpentine belt, is it tight enough or worn out.
  5. Chrome gets me home 86 2.1l Turbodiesel MJ or 92 4.0 MJ
  6. MJ has been trying out a new look lately. I do miss my toolbox, but it’s hard to argue with how sharp the cover looks
  7. that helped me take my trim off when I polished one side of my trim
  8. Sadly not much yet Carter, the header panel and new drivers fender as well as a front bumper have been hung, and I’ve done lots of parts collecting at the junkyard and on marketplace picking up Turbines, Trading the Bench for Buckets with @acfortier. I currently have all of the air conditioning parts I think except for a compressor. Getting my Daily XJ going took over, and as soon as that was done my dads daily blew, so now we are trying to figure that out. The Chief is looking like a spring project right now (especially because it was -15 here last night). It will get the rear bumper off my black MJ and a Rollbar solution in the works, And of corse fix all the electrical issues. Here’s how it sits for now Hopefully it’ll be ready for road-trips this summer with my black truck. And here’s all the parts for it in the bed of my dads MJ lol
  9. Beautiful truck, congratulations. I love those 86 decals on the white
  10. I’m Definitely interested as well
  11. I'm so jealous, tomorrow is supposed to be -12 with a high of 10
  12. Exactly how I had my side box mounted, just don’t tighten them too much or you’ll bend that lip under the bed, it’s only sheet metal
  13. Take a long screwdriver and put it to the valvecover and then put your ear to the screwdriver, then do the same to the oil pan, whatever is louder is where it’s originally from.
  14. This is correct, I always ran a sway bar and my fender liners but no rubbing there, but back when my dad had the truck he trimmed my front flares to try and fit snow tires
  15. I Ran 31x10.5 mt’s on 7inch wheels with 4 inch backspacing on 2” of lift with no rubbing of factory control arms, but once I went with tj 8” wheels they rubbed the control arms until I put some aftermarket adjustable ones in. But with 7’s and 4” backspacing 31’s shouldn’t rub
  16. For me 2 MJ’s, and one XJ…. but if we are counting all wheeled vehicles I’ve had 4 quads, and I think now about 17 lawnmowers (ride on’s)
  17. Thanks Carter I know we have some books posted in this thread that you can look into, and I can also look into the rest of the books, I’ll just have to find them
  18. That interior is beautiful, Maroon for the win
  19. I’ll update this as well when My MJ is settled, it’ll have a late model xj booster, bigger dana44 drums, and eventually bigger brakes up front too, as well as trailer brakes, those do the most
  20. These are definitely good for alot more with proper brakes and such, with weight distribution hitch they are rated for 5000 lbs.
  21. I haven’t gotten to tow it much, I only towed the box trailer home with it in the rain with no trailer brakes while unloaded. It pushed the Jeep everytime I went to stop, and I spent a lot of time using the 2-1 mode in the transmission to slow down. As for towing the Comanche behind it that was a staged photo, but it pulled it up the driveway no problem. The real limit on the MJ platform for towing is the brakes. You need a brake controller and well functioning truck brakes, and as long as you have a trans cooler for the automatic, the 4.0 has enough guts to pull it up almost anything
  22. I’ll have to pull mine out to look, I have 2 different brands, the ones I have now are slightly brighter than the others but I’ll share both brands
