  1. That is actually really cool I watch both of them. I wish I could meet them. I thought about taking my truck to let him paint it but I live 1000 miles away. If I ever could save that kind of money up I would.
  2. I went and purchased the tool to cut it out from the inside it came out in one piece. Thought I was going to damage it but I didn’t force anything and took my time thankfully it came out intact I was terrified of breaking it. I won’t let safelite touch my windshields ever again in the past I had a 95 Cherokee. The guy broke out my window to remove it then didn’t have the right windshield. Couldn’t get them to come back out to replace it for weeks when they did they had the wrong windshield again. Didn’t clean the glass up either I had to do that. I ended up having to pay A1 auto glass to come out and do it instead. They also damaged the roof and the cowl as well. Idk if I just got a new guy or if that particular location didn’t know what they where doing but I won’t go to them ever again. I’ve installed a few windshields since then after a friend showed me how. Never removed a intact one until now. All the others had been shattered so we knocked them out and cleaned off all the adhesive.
  3. Thanks for the advice I like the later trim better myself. I’ll have to keep that in mind and look for the tool. I was going to buy a new windshield but I am not going to argue with free if I can remove it intact.
  4. I have a friend with a 01 Cherokee the windshield is perfect he had a tree fall on the rear of the vehicle. He told me if I could get the windshield out I could have it. Is it possible to remove the windshield without cracking it? Mines still in good working order but I would like to have a spare for the mj mines still the factory glass.
  5. Thank you all for the information I appreciate it! I need a new exhaust anyway so I might go ahead and at least do the exhaust manifold then just on the ho head when I get the money with the intake manifold. I appreciate y’all’s help and the information.
  6. So the 99+ ho intake will work with no issues with the renix head? Will the the run correctly. I know the exhaust will I know it will take a little modification but will this work till I can get a ho cylinder head which idk when that might be. I appreciate the help
  7. I know I will have to do some modifications to the throttle cable etc. I have a 99+ intake laying around and a 96 exhaust manifold. I know I will have to grind the intake some and bend the rear tube some. Is it possible will it run right? I already have everything I need to swap it the cable tps adapter etc. I have a friend who did a ho swap to his jeep and he gave it to me. I was going to do a head swap to a ho head. Exhaust manifold is leaking now with the renix head so can I install it for now and it run right? Till I can afford a ho head I was going to use a 93 head but will it all work with the renix head for now? 90 Comanche 4.0 ax 15 transmission
  8. Sorry for the slow response I was working on a solution all weekend and yesterday. So I had a friend come over he has been working on Cherokee and Comanche wiring for 30 years. We ended up having to rewire part of the wiper harness. The wires looked good but He had the wire and wanted to do it. Turns out the wires somehow had started forming corrosion further down in the wires. They didn’t have any damage anything. He said he had seen my issue before. We checked the intermittent the switch literally everything. He had a Cherokee that did the same thing it was a 89 said the wiring was just old and started to go bad. Never seen it happen before but it worked and they are functioning how they should now so I’m not complaining.
  9. It’s a 90 Comanche pioneer with a 4.0 and a ax15 5 speed manual transmission. Sorry I should have given more information. I thought that was a possibility but the master cylinder hasn’t lost any fluid I checked it for leaks but it’s solid.
  10. I have a 90 Comanche when I turn the ignition on my wipers turn on and will not turn off. Only way I can get them off is to pull the wiper breaker underneath the dash. I have replaced the wiper switch and the intermittent. I installed a 2000 Cherokee model wiper motor and a new plug for the 2000 motor. I have checked all the grounds fuses everything! I’m at a loss to what is causing this issue I put the 2000 motor in to speed my wipers up and it worked. Never had this issue till 2 months ago. I put the motor in 3 years ago. The wiper speed controls still work the thing will just not turn off. I’m at a loss 🫤 if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
