I was thinking about posting my 87 4.0 5 speed long bed 4x4 rusty rockers and some on fenders n floor-pan. 213,000 . Newer 31X10.5-15's on canyons curious on where I should start? I also have ax-15 and np-231 t-case around 156,000 on trans believe it's been gone through though by the looks of sealant. new style header panel. Feel free to make offers or whatever. South Jersey. Someone put my temp sensor in the radiator. The 1 in block is broke. Seems like my oil filter housing is leaking and the renix is vertical n the H.O is horizontal witch i like just personal preference just a thought that all the oil won't drain back... I gotta pull the thermostat housing cause my truck doesn't get hot. Idk if its stuck open or someone pulled it out. Truck is a basket case but I'm chipping away at it lil by lil

My rig is an 87-4.0, 5 speed. I have a 96 cherokee 4.0 H.O, 5 speed. I'm curious on what motor parts will work on my renix. Thermostat housing? Oil filter housing? I want to swap transmissions but i believe pete m has the swap info for that. I really need to get moving on my rig b4 she dyes on me.... Thanks for your time and any info will be appreciated 👍

I was a heavy equipment operator for years. This is the very best find. No title, don't care. Drop a gear n disappear... . Kind of a basket case but 3rd through 6th on highway is great. Named it jolene (Dolly Parton) i been 140 on her.... Pics start from yhe day i found her in an impound garage i was about to tear down. It's an 01 suzuki gsxr 600. It was laid down on 1 side n sat for there for 10 years. I had it running in 2 weeks. Then lil by little taught myself how to fiberglass. For my 1st time really not that bad... Anyway after i i ride it around the hood for a while. I got new tires, grips, and some flashy spiked screws (witch i use on my Comanche too) . Its missing 2nd gear, fork seals leak, and rear brakes are well, they don't do crap llol. I have a spare motor to pull the trans from but life is in the way atm. Turns out they have a cult following from 01-03 something about superman injection i. Supposedly it learns on its own. Add nitrous, turbo, n it makes up for timing, fuel (to extent) wish my Comanche would self learn how to fix its own rust..... Anyway sorry about the ramble,. Just laying here bored n figured id share with y'all. Hope you enjoyed my story.

You're not the 1st person that said that. Just drill out the spots, separate it, n straighten it out. Riiiight. Probably take 5 mins on bitchin rides...

Found this 1 dude wants like 3k for it. I just want the roll bar, tailgate, and the rears have 4:something with lockers.

I waited for the guy. 1st thing i said was sell it to me. He said yeah. It has the newer doors, dash, and seats. Its the chevy powered 2 wheel drive. The body looks way better than mine tho. I was gonna follow him and steal his tailgate lol mine is bent. Heck, id take his whole bed....

I know i had at least a pin hole in bottom i usually keep about a 1/2 tank in it. But i filled it up n fuel was coming down both sides of the tank. I had buckets under it lol. It looks like the original. Its just time. Ill order the works. Like i said i wanna do it once. I'm just trying to get everything i can off my xj b4 i scrap it. I got it on the cheap. Grabbed it for the ax-15, the 1 piece axle d-30, and the control arms. Its got me out of a couple jams already with parts here n there. Thanks again every1.

Mine is a long bed. Guess I'm just gonna order up a new tank and guts. May as well put new everything in cause i don't wanna do it twice... thanks

I probably know the answer already but.... Is there any fuel tank upgrades available? I filled my tank last night and it was just pouring out. Guess a factory replacement is the best route to take? Has any1 on here successfully swapped an xj tank to factory spare tire location? Just asking cause i have an xj parts truck and a welder lol. Any input on what to do and who puts out the best replacement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone...
