  1. I'd like to run a dose of fuel system cleaner before I change my injectors and o2 sensor, is there any that you guys would suggest? I usually use chevron, but I figured I may as well ask.
  2. I have something like that. It's a flexhead also. Great tool to have. Actually it's my fathers; I'm too cheap to buy my own.
  3. breaker bars get it done.
  4. Straps on the wheels.....my god. Cops around here would look at you like you have two heads. Good luck with the new rig. It's nice to see another overseas MJ guy.
  5. +1. Let the thing die with some dignity........I hope your other jeep didn't see you doing that.

    Hmmm....

made me think of one thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhhzwjt2AG0
  7. I use a throttle cable. It's a pretty simple setup; if you're interested I could elaborate further.
  8. roll with it by steve winwood.
  9. self explanitory. (think super troopers)
  10. My 50 pound greyhound sheperd mutt is just like that. But the one time someone tried to sneak in through the backdoor of my house the damn dog was out of control. You would have though he was rabid the way he wouldn't back down. And my hound has a really strong bark, which is good since he needs to count on his bark scaring off anyone (he's blind). I feel much safer sleeping while my dogs are on watch, I'm sure some of you guys are the same way.
  11. were any of the plugs out of the ordinary?
  12. I'm gonna go against the grain here: If you were parked on a decent hill, maybe you were low on trans flud and whatever you have in drifted on back, hence when you started it up, the howling noise. Kind of a silly theory, I know, but it's worth checking.
  13. I agree with this post. The donor mj I picked up had 273k, 4 giant cracks in the waterjacket, and 1/4" of solid sludge on the bottom of the paint. Damn thing still ran though. But yes, 125K is rediculous to consider low mileage. I think for a 20 year old truck, <75k is a low mileage vehicle.
  14. pull the spark plug of the cylinder in question.
  15. oh sorry, it's a short bed.
  16. this one http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9251
  17. where in pennsylvania are you? I have a solid bed in ny.
  18. I want to know about the bars that are in 3 feet of water. I know I'd never loose my seat on a bathroom break.
  19. I used 3 quarts on the body and door jambs. Maybe less, but I don't think so.
  20. I agree. I think it could be a loose linkage rod.
  21. looks like the back on an s197 mustang. I'm suprised the hubcaps arent spinning.
  22. I forget the brand I used but it ran me about 180 for the setup. I did the floor of my cab and a few other trucks with it and am very happy.
  23. Thats a good point. If I drop it, and put a big spoiler on the tailgate, will that help my aerodynamics?
  24. With my 3.55s I usually cruise at 22-2300 rpm. Lately I've been going in the slow lane at around 2050-2100rpm and the mileage difference seems noticable. I might throw in my 3.07s and downsize tires a little bit for the summer.
  25. Not to jump off topic here, but I am planning to do exhaust on my truck, and I'm wondering if the stock manifold is sufficient for a stock engined truck. In other words, is it choking me up? And what are you guys using for mufflers?
