  1. :agree: :USAflag:
  2.
  3. Welcome to Comanche Club and the world of MJs! Now that you have one, you'll never sell it.
  4. They make gaskets for the thermostat housings, they usually come with the new thermostats...
  5. Very nice truck! How noisy are the Baja Claws?
  6. That is my "Canoe Rack" which is usually used to carry long lengths of lumber more often than my canoe. I had it on when I stored the truck last and didn't get the chance to take it off (it and the roll bar are fully removable in 30 mins) before I took the trip... Now its off of the truck, along with the roll bar.
  7. Did it drive any better on the way home since you can now see out the back glass again?
  8. No stories like that one, but I will say that if it weren't for CC I would be a Comanche owner in a new state (I just moved to Wisconsin in June) with no friends around to speak of. It is because of CC that I have met at least 5 guys within an hour of where I now live that share our love for these great trucks. I've met up with them on multiple occasions to work on the trucks or just to hang out for the day. Moving to a whole new place where you are all alone can be rough on a guy, but CC has made it much easier by giving me a SOLID friend base to start off with. I can't thank Pete enough for putting up with all of the crap we give him, this is a great site and I am very happy to be a member here.
  9. You won't regret it if you become involved with Scouting...
  10. I'm leaving tomorrow to head back to Michigan this weekend, I am going over there to surprise the G/F... I'll be leaving right from a meeting down in Monroe dealing with a potential new rail customer tomorrow around noon... Driving the White MJ, Blue one staying here. Planning on coming back on Sunday. I'd be happy to drive out your way sometime next week and we could look things over. Monday I am scheduled to be going up to Horicon for the day (oil change on the Company Car), could swing by on the way home and spend some time helping to trouble shoot it if you haven't found the problem...? Call me and we can figure something out. Sorry I can't help this weekend. :(
  11. Good choice Pete, Weber is what I personally own and I am very happy with it. Clean it out regularly, I do mine once in the Fall and once in the Spring, and it will last you a LONG time. :clapping:

    RIP Piper.

Your place won't be the same without her. :(
  13. i kinda like the dakota rollbar better then the factory actually. plus since I'm doing the 92 back to somewhat original condition it would be nice to have a factory rollbar in that one.  Sounds Good.
  14. You can usually find them in yards fairly easy...
  15. Very nice lights!
  16. I just think it would look good with a factory roll-bar now that you have a nice one. Thats all... :dunno:
  17. I vote to get rid of the Dakota roll bar and swap in your MJ one to the red truck... See if you like the lights or not, I sold mine cause I kept hitting them on my Dad's garage back home and never used them anyway...
  18. When I first got my 4.5 packs from Rusty's my rear sat REALLY high, WAY over 4.5 inches. This is even after I took the lowest leaf out of them: Now the leaf is back in. After two years and alot of loads of firewood I'm probably now riding at the advertised 4.5 height... Some guys on here are having problems with them breaking, so far mine have held up OK and they are nice and supple for good articulation. Truck looks good, all the Best on the rest of the buildup. - Brent
  19. Keep up the good work! :clapping:
  20. Where in Wisconsin are you at? A bunch of us are down in the lower portion of the state. I just moved here from Michigan, living southwest of Madison in a town called Fitchburg. Welcome to the MJ world! - Brent
  21. Looks VERY Familiar.
  22. My Step by Step writeup pictureshow: I found that someone named "GM" had initialed it at some point down the line. Maybe it belonged to that "other" car maker and got taken home from the Janesville plant never to return...
  23. Hey Rob, Remember that "Free Tool" bin we came across? I got my money's worth :D
