I always thought all sawzall blades were the same? :shake: I just got some cheap tool-shop ones from Menards. $1/each in the 25 pack. They should work...
-
I've got a gun rack in my back window - works much better! Also works good to hold my CB antenna when its not in use.
-
Correy posted on Facebook that he decided he wanted to start drinking tea now instead of pop so I'm just giving him some crap about it. Also, I bought a pack of 25 sawzall blades today. I'm ready to roll.
-
I'm bringing some pop, cause thats what it is called. Those of us who like to drink tea can brew it if they wish...

:agree: lets try it.

Junkyards in MI don't require a title if the vehicle is in 3 or more pieces... We cut them up and trailer them a lot at my house. I wish I would have kept my little trailer over here now for times like this, its back in the woods keeping the Blue MJ company right now. All I have to offer is my truckbed and sawzall for the weekend.

That 2wd axle is still back in MI, I told you to let me know if you wanted it and I never heard a yes or no so I left it there. I'm not planning on being home between now and then. There HAS to be a way to get this thing to the jyard with no front axle. Back at college we were dragging Cherokee carcases down the street, granted it was iced over, but we flipped the darn things on their roof and got them to where then needed to go! Let me think. Does anyone have a trailer? I guess we all drive trucks... I just bought a very very nice sawzall today and haven't the chance to use it yet... Pat, you might want to come to just watch :rotfl2:

The weekend of the 25/26 my family is coming down to visit me. Be busy all weekend. 31/1 works great for me. I'm compiling a list of things I need. I put a stock radio back in the MJ today, one thing I'll be needing is the steel piece that bolts onto the radio to hold it up in the dash. The stock unit I wired in tonight was missing this piece and until I get one, its just gonna float around in the dash. Maybe you got one?

Thats exactly what I did on mine. Glad to see its on the truck and things lined up good!

I hope you know you have a nice clean MJ! -
Truck looks great! Rusted floorboards, we've all been there... Keep up the good work!
-
 To be more specific, use this link :dunce: http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/mer ... y_Code=MJB The front bumper I bought from them is a stage 4 and I have nothing but good things to say about it! Also, JCR NOW has rear bumpers and sliders for MJ's for sale... see if you recognize the rear bumpers too...the rear bumper on this truck started it all. Thanks to them, I don't have to make rear bumpers for you guys anymore. :rotf: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12148

Yah, its rough. However... I KNOW that there are people who would be very very interested in getting those un-molested and clean rocker panels, cab corners and possibly floorboards out of that truck if you decide to part it out. My guess is that they would last all of about 5 minutes if you posted them up for sale in the classifieds with a reasonable price tag on em... Speaking from experience here, it would be in your best interest to get a good solid starting platform for a project. The amount of work you have on this one is too much to justify saving it. You will be ahead quite a bit of time AND money by buying another MJ... Best of luck, if you are patient you should be able to find one cheap - at least thats the story for around here. They pop up now and then, just keep looking.

Wow. Never. Ever. Either one of mine. Never. :shake:

Cheesey? :rotf: Hey Roger, So far I have found out that milk and cheese are cheaper over here than they were in Michigan. Best part is that I eat/drink alot of it so its all good. Just an FYI for ya... :rotf:

Pat - Looks like I won't be able to make it either now. Buddy of mine called me tonight when I was over at Correy's place (we accidentally swapped a few tools on Sunday, got things figured out now). My friend needs some help on his brakes this weekend and considering that he let me borrow his trailer to get my crap over here to WI, I kinda gave him priority... Figured I would let you know ASAP.

I apologize in advance for this one: :rotfl2: From the sounds of things, it would go something like this...

I gotta see this thing. We'll see how she compares to my '88 ;) :rotfl2:

I love how much squat that XJ had in the back once we got the motor out of it. Looks like its ready to launch now :rotf: Also, how bad are the oil stains in your car-port Correy? :grrrr:
