    I love the 10 slot
  2. That sounds about right for Iowa! Also, that is wildly cool!
  3. Good! Start them young. I’m a great example of that, errrrrrr.... maybe I’m not, but I like to think I am. 😉
  4. I am not going to do this to my Comanche, but I thought it was cool and decided to share. Basically it is an outdoor shower from a camper on a Cherokee. I figure it could be done on an MJ too. You’d need some sort of water storage and potential water heater though.
  5. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve hauled with your MJ? Mine would have to be these RUST FREE 1970 GTO Judge doors that came off of a wrecked GTO in 1971. They have some dents but zero rust!
  6. You’re all good. We were all new to this at one point!
  7. Most likely, 3.07s. Manual MJs and XJs usually has 3.07s and autos had 3.55. If you want 3.55s, swap the XJ rear axle into the MJ. All you would need to change the rear axle is weld on different spring perches. Oh, these questions would go in the Mods and Repairs section. I’m sure @Pete M will move it for you.

Ultimately, this MJ has traveled the world with us and is now on the island of Guam. It is no where near the MJ I picked up that cold night in St Louis. I would say the craziest story was just the drive home. I bought it at night after making a 5 hr drive from Arkansas to St Louis, MO. It was raining out so I pretty much just started it and then handed the guy the cash. It was an absolute beater. Almost no interior except for the dash and seats which were in very rough shape. The headlights were useless to me and the heater wasn’t doing anything in 20 degree weather. It also felt very anemic which I would later discover came from a massive vacuum leak and a cracked block. When I finally pulled the rubber mats and shabby leftover carpet out, I found there was very little drivers side footwell left. I honestly can’t say how I was able to drive home that night but that little MJ made the 5hr return journey and I was hooked. My dad and I have worked on cars since I was a little kid and this is the last project we have worked on together. Plenty of good memories along the way I won’t forget. CC is Awesome!... Why Do You Think So? Super helpful group of people who are very modest and genuine. I appreciate that everyone here is just an MJ enthusiast plain and simple. I really appreciate the support and help! te Congratulations and what a beauty @ghetdjc320! 2 quick notes 1. Stop drooling 2. If you would like to see your MJ as a future MJotM, please send me a PM.
  10. Looks like excellent condition if you close your eyes.
  11. I have the best of both worlds. 5-speed MJ.
  12. Thanks!
  13. In a perfect world, I would want 12,00 (prices for these are rising considerably), but I’m not opposed to trades.
  14. I assume you want one for your XJ? Or will it be for Little Red?
  15. There is also this one:
  16. I have an 89 that is restored that is exactly what you want, but it is quite a bit for than 5,000.
  17. Maybe @Red Mistress would have one. I don’t know if it would be for sale though.
  18. That would be a perfect building for my future MJs.
  19. My dad paid $500 for a non stainless exhaust system for his V8 YJ.
  20. Uh oh be careful that's a slippery slope, now it's just a idler pulley, next week it'll be a bed Put a mattress inside the Comanche bed. Now that would be cool!
  21. Fixed the turn signals for the 3rd time. This time it was a loose connector.
