In the past three months I have seen four other Comanches than my own. One a block away from my parents house, one in my grandparents small town, one at a local glass shop and the last one is a light rollover write off that I'm trying to get for parts. I know of two more local trucks, but have not laid eyes on them.

This should be a VIN for a 1991 Cherokee. Is there a way to find out what transmission and differential it has? I'm curious if it's worth making the trip to acquire for a parts unit or maybe a project.

Has this unit had any other weird electrical issues? I'm not too familiar with the CRD, but could it be a faulty TIPM?
