    YES!!!

I flip these trucks off everytime I see one. Shouldn’t but they anger me. They insult the original nameplate from ‘62
  2. You know, I wish I had that ability to find the numbers of those. All I can get is build sheets and dates. I have yet to find any way to get numbers. If you want I can decide your diesel here too and post a build sheet. It will be this afternoon though, it’s challenging to post build sheets while at work.
  3. Send him a PM. He will have a higher chance of seeing such. He’s a good man, he is also busy too, so shoot him a PM
  4. Not at all. That one just happened to be NOS
  5. Lucky guess. Lol kidding. I work at a dealer and the parts catalogue program allows me to see a build date and build sheet. I need to go back through the VINs and put a build sheet but pre ‘89 sheets aren’t incredibly accurate.
  6. Do some sensor testing and see which ones are acting up or not functioning.

  8. Well I’m gonna take a stab at it. You said it came from a 95? Did you grab the whole AC control deck and it’s harness? The wiring harness for the control deck would have that wiring for the freeze sensor. So unless you are still running the non AC wiring harness, you probably won’t be able to get AC to turn on at all let alone plug that sensor in. PS, this should be in the tech not the DIY section. Everyone looks in the tech section and not so much the DIY
  9. Very close to a Roy Brown song from the 40's called "Butcher Pete". (Fallout fans will know this)
  10. There is a common ground that almost literally everything shares on the drivers side fender. Clean that up and check the wipers operation.
  11. Well when ever you find time I have my busted one that I may or may not be able to fix. Solder is a bit out of my skill but might try it if I find the right resistor needed.
  12. No problem. I can assist it need me.
  13. Ew. Not fun. Well. Time to fight fire ants with fire
  14. Ok hang on. I don't know if it was stated before but the build sheets from pre ‘89 are not incredibly accurate. You should have a 4speed AW4 automatic trans.
  15. Little Red had those same exact rims when I got her. That’s factory.
  16. Always snag skid plates. Hell always snag MJ specific stuff.
  17. I tried sea foam. Not to say it didn’t work but with the previous history my engine had of having a blown head gasket and coolant all in the cylinders led me to where none of the snake oil could’ve cured the issue. Give it a shot. Might be just some crud in the valve guides.
  18. I had an issue similar that made me think it was a misfire but it was the valves sticking on the third cylinder. Since you said everything else checks out fine except at idle leads me to think that because for me everything was fine while driving except at idle it would miss. I had my head rebuilt and the problem went away.
  19. Actually...it’s really was a matter of swapping out the regulator(the yellow box) and testing it. There is a factory testing procedure for testing the regulator, on one side is two pots both get positioned at the ten o clock position and the third one gets turned all the way to the left. I used a test light to test the stalk and brake light functions.
  20. Well I finally figured it out. After some rigorous testing of the entire circuit and swapping parts around, it boiled down to one regulator blowing a couple resistors and the other being inop. JMO sent me his old regulator that allowed me to come to this conclusion. Nice to have cruise and something functioning again.
  21. I’m almost certain that there are two flasher relays. One is for the turn signals and the other is for the hazard circuit. So your hazard one is good. Perhaps the then signal is on its way out? Otherwise tearing off the steering wheel and replacing the whole turn signal switch is a pita unless you have time to sit down and do it.
  22. Holy crap this is what I get for not looking at the parts book.
  23. Really? I thought they used the pioneer decal and the Olympic insignia below Comanche.
  24. How’s the harmonic balancer? Engine mounts?
  25. I found one Comanche with the gold pioneer stripes. But it had a god awful photo bucket watermark. But just google or bing 88 Comanche pioneer and something should show up. Also supposedly these guys have repop decals. You want the beige/tan combo https://www.graphic-express.com/jeep/jeep-comanche-mj/1987-92-jeep-comanche-mj-pioneer-truck-side-stripe-kit-two-color.html
