  3. Well...lighting is something to be desired. Well it seems like you have good chunk of work cut out for ya. Trucks look nice though, shame one was owned by Fred Flintstone. Be sure to register them and you'll get a build date and build sheet!
  4. No. But stopping with a load in your bed will require you to brake earlier than what you would. You can use hornbrods fix for the rod and clips or you can delete it.
  5. Well I took all the light grey interior pieces out today and gave them a refresh on paint. Damn. That's how good it looks. Even painted the euramtec light bezels too to match. Now I just need the other color to do the lower dash bezel and center console. Also got the windows tinted. No longer have factory tint. It does help with cooling off the inside of the cab. Before After (I know, it may look funny but I had the panel in a different spot. I blame the lighting and my color blindness) It definitely looks new inside.
  6. The two bottom bushings look like the things you’d find on hangers are a department store. The top one looks like a bushing for the clutch or brake pedal bolts.
  7. Mine looks exactly like the back of his except the fuel gauge is moved and is replaced with three screws straight across for the tach. It’s just a really rare piece. I’ve seen a few and mine was plug and play for it. Nothing was modded. Came from the factory. It’s known as type one. The one that we all know I associate with the 4.0 ore the type two that looks more modern is what we commonly find because everyone and their mother had an XJ with 4.0 w/ AW4
  8. This is actually what he is looking for. Not a common cluster to find that works with the 87-90 speedo cable. Save these clusters if any of you guys find them!
  9. No problem. I think I’m gonna send you a few others along with FI and 2.5, cherokee, Laredo, Wagoneer(XJ style), 4 wheel drive(not 4x4) and command-trac. Most of these are metal so I hope that won’t pose a problem for ya.
  10. So far so cold with AC. Driving home is much more bearable now. Next is to refresh the interior panels with new coat of paint. Then I shall start a new project so I can get Little Red painted and be done with the restoration. Hint, New project(hopefully) is the epitome of 70's luxury and is Mopar.
  11. I'll admit. Those are the glory days of Chrysler packaging though.
  12. They probably buy out old inventory from dealers and turn around and sell them to people who are looking for them and wouldn’t know and wiser

    YES!!!

Eh it’s the vehicle. I don’t blame the owner. And it’s on the down low too when I do it. Just so no one knows.

    YES!!!

I flip these trucks off everytime I see one. Shouldn’t but they anger me. They insult the original nameplate from ‘62
  15. You know, I wish I had that ability to find the numbers of those. All I can get is build sheets and dates. I have yet to find any way to get numbers. If you want I can decide your diesel here too and post a build sheet. It will be this afternoon though, it’s challenging to post build sheets while at work.
  16. Send him a PM. He will have a higher chance of seeing such. He’s a good man, he is also busy too, so shoot him a PM
  17. Not at all. That one just happened to be NOS
  18. Lucky guess. Lol kidding. I work at a dealer and the parts catalogue program allows me to see a build date and build sheet. I need to go back through the VINs and put a build sheet but pre ‘89 sheets aren’t incredibly accurate.
  19. Do some sensor testing and see which ones are acting up or not functioning.

  21. Well I’m gonna take a stab at it. You said it came from a 95? Did you grab the whole AC control deck and it’s harness? The wiring harness for the control deck would have that wiring for the freeze sensor. So unless you are still running the non AC wiring harness, you probably won’t be able to get AC to turn on at all let alone plug that sensor in. PS, this should be in the tech not the DIY section. Everyone looks in the tech section and not so much the DIY
  22. Very close to a Roy Brown song from the 40's called "Butcher Pete". (Fallout fans will know this)
  23. There is a common ground that almost literally everything shares on the drivers side fender. Clean that up and check the wipers operation.
  24. Well when ever you find time I have my busted one that I may or may not be able to fix. Solder is a bit out of my skill but might try it if I find the right resistor needed.
  25. No problem. I can assist it need me.
