  1. I missed the mono speaker system. That’s gotta be awesome.
  2. https://fueleconomy.gov/feg/compareMPG.shtml#id=4913 I “stumbled” upon this. More or less found it on one of those dealer build sheets for new cars. Pretty neat to goof around with. The link is to a 2.5L 5spd. Don’t know if this has been posted before but I found it neat.

  4. I have no idea how many were made with your set up. All I know is auto 2.5L’s don’t pop up often. Maybe someone might know a source that has said numbers.
  5. It’s definitely neat. I’ll post your build sheet this afternoon.
  6. Lol. I’d imagine that the autos came with that gearing. Since it is an AW4 after all. I think the A999 was set up with a different ratio
  7. Damn rare. Even more so than the Chrysler A999/2.5L combo.
  8. XJ socket!! They are metal and last a lot longer.
  9. I wish you the best of luck. Best bet is to have it “rebuilt”. As far as anyone’s having one, they probably have a stash of platinum with that controller.
  10. So...I did some searching for your controller. There are two different part numbers. 53005101 is for the 2.5L auto. No one has one but this is what you want to look for. There’s an older part number still available from one dealer but it is worth an arm and a leg. Maybe half a brain. So a 4.0 controller won’t be direct plug and play for you because of the shift points the controller expects from the six cyl
  11. I second what Pete said. I regret not hopping on here after I found several answers and not tracking my build. I'd like to go back and see the original base steel white wheels again from when I first got Little Red. But I can't find any pictures from that time.
  12. You could always apply direct power to your pump and see if it stays running to eliminate the thought of a bad pump.
  13. Those are said to be found under the seat. I found mine....sadly I found it by accident after my transmission blew in a spectacular fashion. And it was in pieces too when I found it. So what you have is a neat piece of history for your truck as most have disintegrated or disappeared by now. Granted the parts catalogue I use provides build sheet data.
  14. One week to go. AC will happen this weekend. All parts are here and ready, just awaiting the arrival of the Jeepair kit now. Hopefully the kit will not be a problem.
  15. Check the crankshaft sensor on top of the bell house.
  16. Nice truck, and with a sport bar I might add. Have you performed Cruisers tips yet? Great place to start for any and all electrical and engine issues!
  17. When in doubt, test the CPS first. Congrats!
  18. Looks like some decent surface rust. Might take more than just a wire brush to clean that up.
  19. What is wrong with the old ISA? They can easily come apart to be cleaned and re-greased.
  20. Hang on. There is so much wrong with the catalogue right now. We will need an actual YJ catalogue as I'm sure that both our trucks and YJ's DO NOT share the same bumper. Maybe the tube set up but can't confirm that with the current catalogue. But the tube bumper is weird. Chrysler shows it to be an 88-88 thing. Here's the Part# for the tube bumper package:55018449. None are left as NOS
  21. Did you test the crank shaft sensor located on top of the bell house? That sensor tells the computer when to fire.
  22. I just looked and the factory is different. The end is straight compared to the one you scored. Still nice. Gonna restore it?
  23. That bumper looks like the old factory tube style that almost no one had
  24. It goes to the diagnostic port on the fire wall for the 86’s and fender for the 87-90’s
