Lol pretty much! I’m surprised it worked too as I’m sure I never bled it the factory way but they locked up pretty damn quick. I thought maybe my rear shoes were well worn due to the dragging of the old e-brake lines but guess not.

Just found out the front to rear bypass system works this morning. Front drivers side brake line blew and immediately locked up the rear. Brake light came on and I knew there was trouble. I can still drive and stop and what not but looks like I’m gonna have to be mighty cautious for a bit. Or hitch a ride from my friend.

I need to find them first but I won’t charge ya an arm and a leg.

So they’re aren’t any left. I might have a cable or two but I think the connection to the antenna base is busted.

Hahaha yeah let me look. I think they’re an entire wire so I don’t think they are separate.

Oh yeah. I remember you and I talking about it and setting up as HO. I thought I knew the basics of relays and had it set up right but my knowledge of relays was pretty poor at that moment.

Man, it’s not even done in the electrolysis bath yet. Course I can’t get the middle but the mounting ends are the worse part where they need to be welded and reinforced. It’s killing me not to have that guard on yet.

So I revamped the power locks a couple nights ago. Really wish I knew relays better then but I didn’t and it all worked so I never bothered. After a year or so of having them I got fed up with the system and how I had it. It wouldn’t lock unless you kept pushing the button down and that’s because of how I had it. So I rewired it all correctly and it works fantastic now. One thing down, few more to go.

On a 4.0L? Doesnt the 4.0L mech fan rotate a different way than the 2.5L? Or is this an HO fan?

I’ve seen a few blue and silver ones as options. I’m sure the color selection was limited. White might’ve been one of them too

I’ve gotten rubber line that slips over the old lines. Never had a problem.

I mean you’re not wrong but I also haven’t really noticed or taken mine out to clean it. I personally love mine.

It’s possible that the hard line from the vac ball to the controller got hard and broke in a spot where you won’t know that it broke. I mean it is 30 year old vacuum line after all.

Is your front D30 original or newer?

Heh, actually I might’ve done that myself. I had it rigged to power on one day just because it sat in an XJ for god who knows how long at AMC and I had it all set to go and it wouldn’t display the time. Just a dot. So I went to probing to find the resistor that doesn’t have power. I found it and jumped it for a second and kinda scoured the board a little. But the VFD is fine.

Need OEM part numbers? Usually that helps cross reference stuff.
