  1. Can I ask where you got the rear wheel spacers? Thanks in advance. That is amazing work and time you have put into this build, very impressive. Buck
  2. I can only imagine how many stories there are from the workers' side. I had an argument with a counter guy, we both thought we were talking to a brick wall. I finally realized he was trying to help me and I was being stubborn, I apologized and did feel stupid but he was cool. That was a Napa. I buy quite a bit at one Auto Zone, they are helpful and knowledgeable, although I will not go into one on a weekend if I can avoid it.

    New To The Mj

Welcome to the madness from a fellow Floridian, I'm in Lake Mary, just north of Orlando. Good luck and x2 on adding pics. Buck.
  4. I think you got a great deal especially with hardly any rust. Congrats and welcome to the madness. I don't know what it will take to pass inspections so I can't give you my opinion on that one. Since it has low mileage I would imagine you may not have to do too much, but you might open up a can of worms with everything you do if the po didn't take care of it. Good luck and put up some pics. Buck.
  5. Congrats Ben, great project. Definitely one of those "had to be" stories of how it played out. Buck.
  6. It took me several months to find a topper for my mj. Finally found one in the carolinas, only $100.00 but $300.00 to have it shipped to Florida, worth every penny. I don't like how the s10 toppers look at all. Ironically there is an mj topper for sale here in Orlando on craigslist. Probably way too much to have it shipped to BC but check out Uship.
  7. Hey Brett, awesome adition to the fleet, does that make 4, 5 or more? Hope you guys get some rain soon. I was in KC last week and I never remember it being that dry, horrible. How's the paint coming along on the red one? Buck.
  8. Hey Josh, sorry that you sold the mj, glad it has a great home and very happy I got to see it in person. Hopefully you will see mine one day and maybe you will have a new mj project to wrench. Congrats on the sell, you put a lot into that mj. Buck.
  9. Congrats! Great story also, glad it wasn't similar to Clark Griswald's visit to east St. Louis! Thanks for all the pics and details, very inspiring. Buck.

    New guy!

Welcome to the club and great thinking to have someone check inventory while you were there, awesome score. If you are going to sell them, be sure you really need the money, you might regret it if you find an mj that is or you will get to showroom or better condition. Good luck on the search, be patient, the one for you is out there. Buck.
  11. That's great you are doing therapy and not surgery. Hopefully surgery will be the last option. I herniated a disk in my lower back and felt so much better after the first treatment. It was a long process but much better than going under the knife.
  12. Hey Brett, great work as always. I was hoping to meet you in KC when I'm there next month, but I'm glad you have a new job and have found a house and are settled in Junction City. Can't wait to see both projects driveable soon. Good luck and thanks for the inspiration. Buck.
  13. You are an inspriation to me and I'm sure many on this forum. Keep up the good work, thanks for sharing so much and congratulations! Buck.
  14. Thanks for sharing the pics, awesome!
  15. That would be an awesome truck to get. I can't think of a better home for it. Rob, I don't think there's going to be any problem finding missing parts, between you and a few other mj wizards on cc, it may be easy to take care of. Anyway, it sounds like you may have extra parts to sell that may be hard to find for someone else. If you aren't going to restore it to race can't you sell the race engine? Now not having a place to put it may be the hardest thing to deal with. Good luck and I say go for it! Buck.
  16. I'm in Lake Mary, not too far from Tavares, definitely closer than Gainsville. Hope to meet you in person someday. Let me know if you are ever in the Orlando area. Buck
  17. Wow, awsome work Kevin, definitely will be watching this build! Buck.

    WRAPPED MJ

What is the color on the registration?
  19. That is excellent work you have done. Keep the pics coming!
  20. Hey Josh, nice to go back and read your thread, although I feel privileged to have seen it in person. That mj is awesome. Can't wait to get together again with you and Rich and many more mj owners. Thanks for taking the time to post the pics and history of this truck. I will definitely be picking your brain from time to time. Buck.

    Florida?

I am definitely up for a central fl meet n greet. Let me know when and where. Buck.
  22. Congrats on the mjotm. Well deserved and a lot of work went in to that truck. Great choice.
  23. That is a great find and welcome to the club. Glad to see other comanche owners not willing to give up their topper. I wouldn't have believed it had any rust unless you posted pics, that is in amazing shape for the original paint job. Keep the pics coming. Buck.

    Florida?

Hey Nate and Rock Mj, please keep me posted, I would like to help out if I can. Don't know my schedule for each weekend but will definitely help if I have a few free hours. I think you have my cell Nate, I know Rich does, please call if something comes up. Hey Rich, which mj is getting painted? Can't wait to see it.
