  1. I have one but don't have a box big enough. I feel like it would be cheaper to find and buy one local.
  2. I might have one. Just have to check my parts stash.
  3. I know this is an old thread but I have a question about a specific trim piece and my question falls in here (Vs creating a new post). The seat trims/plastics at the base; are these interchangeable XJ to MJ? Also I have been searching google images but I can't find anything showing if the MJ Bench seats had plastic pieces at the base. If they did, will XJ pieces mount to Benches?
  4. Also check the FB group. There are two guys on there that have a ton of parts (They are probably on here too but I don't know their SN)
  5. What website are you guys using for the MJ vin decoder? I would like to take a look at my 92
  6. Thanks for taking pictures of it. I couldn't get the lady to send me pics for her life.
  7. Alright, now that I have owned this thing a little longer now, I am a little torn on the bucket seats idea. I like being able to have the dogs lay down on the bench seat but I also like how comfortable the bucket seats in my XJ are. I am also thinking about keeping the column shift mainly because I finally came across a 4wd shift indicator for a column shift truck. HENS TEETH! I finally located a HO Header panel and red grill pieces that will be installed along with a replacement hood since the one on it was dented and is hard to open. I really need to get my 99 XJ back together so I can get the Windshield replaced in it and the Comanche at the same time to try and save on install cost. I also picked up a JCR DIY rear bumper for this thing last back Friday but haven't built it yet because other Jeep has higher priority and I don't have a welder yet. I still plan on doing the 4wd swap, lower it, and install the roll bar at some point but right now it is not high on my priority list as the truck drives just fine as is. Also want to do a re-spray the factory Colorado Red and bedline the bed for protection.
  8. I recall seeing a how-to somewhere and they just cut it off. The later liberties look like they have the same style headlights, no? just have a full round light at the bottom.
  9. It was still avalible last night when I contacted them. I asked for interior pics but never got anything. I wanted to try and verify it had a plaque on the dash and post the I do up with all the pictures. I can't buy it unfortunatly.
  10. Bump. One week to go and we still need a roommate
  11. Hello all..... Have extra room in a 3 bedroom house for the 35th MOAB event which is same weekend as the Moab Comanche takeover event. The House is about .4 miles south of the KOA campsite. GooseXJ88 and Twinhauler have house paid for already. It has a garage, trailer parking, and access to community pool. It is gonna be a great event. We have the House Rented from Sunday OCT 7th 4pm thru MON OCT 15th 11am...The extra room will be had for $$ 82.00 per night, which is barely more than camping at KOA... MOAB Event is less than 1 month away....LETS DO THIS!
  12. Wheel the 92. Sounds like it's already past the point of "restoration" based on your description.
  13. I've got a 92 swb that I plan to keep as a stock street queen and realistically have no idea when I'd be able to install... after Moab for sure. Worth posting at least. Haha Future plans: drop 2" Install lp d30, d44, and 242 JCR diy rear bumper Hidden tow points through stock front bumper Install roll bar with your mounts Dakota or other bench seat with nothing taller than factory height
  14. Problem he's going to have is the nut falling into the "frame" once the nut is off. I'm running into the same issue right now and debating how I can cut an access hole in the bottom for a new bolt/nut or tack the existing one in there.
  15. Shoot, Ill trade you my stock black bumper for the JCR bumper. haha My brother just moved to PA from CA so a road trip could be figured out, or there is the NAXJA 35th Anniversary Moab trip in October that I am attending. I bought the JCR bumper because I wanted a hitch but knew the stock hitch is harder to find than a bumper. My rig is a street queen that will be lowered 2" eventually. 4x4 swap, D44 rear, LP30 front, and 242j T-case. I also have a set of the dark Gray Icons off an XJ for it.
  16. Looks awesome. This is almost exactly what I plan on doing with mine. Re-spray, bucket seats, JCR Rear bumper, Roll Bar I have a red 92 (Sport truck I assume). It had a roll bar at one point which will get installed after I get the coin for the new mounts and I also have a JCR DIY rear bumper to throw on once I build it. haha. I plan on doing an eliminator tribute truck but using the older renix era decals as I like the way they look a little more. I also swapped the dash cover and door panels out for some out of a country for the wood grain look.
  17. Boostworks has released their mount for sale. https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1145323
  18. With the factory roll bar and your current setup, i think the nose of the kayaks will still fit between the roll bar.
  19. I agree with the stock interior lights not being sufficient and Jason's led upgrade is well worth the cost. I don't plan on doing the dash upgrade for the same reason stated above. I don't see a benefit for dash backlight as the stock lights are fine in this area imho. I also did the interior and brake/reverse lights on my 99 XJ and it's amazing. I hope we can drum up some more interest with mj brake and reverse lights as I would love to have those on my truck.
  20. Digging up this old thread because I did break off an upper stud. I'm a CA boy and not used to dealing with any rust so I only used on blaster which is usually enough. How can I fix my mistake?
  21. This is the closest I have seen. https://goo.gl/images/BBfjSy
  22. Oh yeh, totally understandable. You have to make some money on them. I need the brackets so it's just a matter of trying to find time to fab them myself..[lol yeh right] or paying the going rate for custom stuff.
  23. I'm interested in a set of roll bar brackets. I'm just hoping they come out cheaper than initial Guestimate to lighten the hit of telling the wife. haha
  24. Haha, In my 88 XJ I call the color "Pimpin' Purple"
