  1. Thanks for the write-up. I'm going to put this here because it is always asked in reference to seats.. It doesn't matter how tall you are, your proportions are going to be different than the next guy. Some people are all legs and short upper bodies; some people are all upper body length and shorter legs. You should try to base your "will I fit" question on how high the seat is in relation to the factory arm rest. That is really the only reference point that will really give any info. Reason I say this is that I have seen many threads where "I'm 5'-11" and i hit my head on the roof" and the next guy is "6'-1" and I still have an inch of clearance" in the same jeep or similar jeep setup....
  2. That'd be awesome. I'll tell him to contact you.
  3. Got a buddy with a MJ with the blue interior who is looking for a good condition Grab bar. He really only needs one of the rubber cover pieces but I'm sure he'd take the whole handle.
  4. There is a lot of work needed to convert the late model trans to work in your rig. If you search "aw4 naxja" on google it will bring you to a great swap thread. Short story is that 96 and older will swap in no issues but 91-96 you will also need to grab a matching tcase as was mentioned before the spline count differences. A 97 trans will work also but you'll need to cut and splice the older connections in.
  5. The best thing to do to get all the bulbs we need for the MJ is to email Jason and let him know what lights your MJ has. Hes a super cool guy and is willing to put together a custom package for you if you request it. Originally the Cab lights page mentioned that it also came with a glove box light and to email him for other oddities your truck may have. The Dash cluster set comes with replacements for the dash lights and center console lights. The cab lights is where it comes with the B-pillar lights and used to (still does?) come with the glove box light.
  6. Best lighting upgrade I've done to my MJ so far has been LED Interior lights from onewaylight.com Passenger side has LED, drivers has stock bulb. https://onewaylight.com/collections/individual-lights/products/37-5mm-festoon-led-3x-cree-xb-d
  7. What about a hard fiberglass cover?
  8. x3. I bought a set for my 92 MJ and 99 XJ. I have not had the chance to install them yet but I will soon I hope.
  9. Location?
  10. I have a chrome one with a few dents in it. Where are you located?
  11. Sweet! I can't wait to be able to buy them
  12. I guess I haven't really looked at the brake line layout or paid attention to what lines go where.. Assuming I keep the MJ distribution block, there are 2 lines that go to the MJ Master and those 2 lines go to 95/96 XJ master? Like I said, I have not looked too deep into this or what the stock layout is..
  13. Alright. So I finally got under my stock 92 MJ and adjusted the valve and man what a difference. It isn't amazing by any means but I no longer feel like I need to leave 5 car lengths between the car in front of me. Now I didn't do the whole procedure like is recommended (no jack stands, level ground, or replacing the bushing) but I adjusted the bushing and arm so that it is at the bottom of the 60 degree range of resistance I felt while rotating the LSV. I would now like to see someone do a write up on keeping the LSV with the 95-96 XJ booster and master upgrade.
  14. I went with a JCR DIY rear for my MJ. I plan on just screwing my license plate straight to the bumper and use an aftermarket license plate light just to keep things simple.
  15. I've got a set of volvo injectors in my 88 xj. Pulled them straight from the junkyard and they have the same part number if I remember right
  16. I think part of the problem of the "well I'm this height and I fit" debate is that some of us are all legs or some of us are all upper body. I think the best way to remedy this is to sit in the seat, measure from between your legs to the headliner to get an accurate and repeatable measurement for people to compare to in their trucks.
  17. Here are the only two pictures that I have found over the past year or so to try and figure out the mount.. screenshot was from a YouTube video
  18. I think I have one. I know it came out of a renix long bed but i have no idea if it was the 16 or 23 gal tank.
  19. I think that a partially built kit would be a great option. Everything welded together except for the long leg. It would minimize work for the end welder and still ship in a smaller box than a fully assembled kit.
  20. Yes, thank you for your hard work and dedication to making these posts. Can you share your searching techniques with us so we can continue searching for trucks or parts in our local areas?
  21. Here's my 92. Planning on dropping it 2-3 inches eventually, 4x4 swap with a 242, lp30, and d44. Also have a country grill that I will be putting on it soon.
  22. My tip would be to make sure you clean all the rust out and repair the floor where needed. Seems like common sense but please don't put bedliner over an already rusted spot.
  23. Booo let me know what the result is if you do start selling kits that allow the radio phone call.
  24. Amazon doesn't seem to have good reviews.. and at $220 each I think I will take my chances with the $60 per pair non DOT https://www.amazon.com/Grote-90951-5-Sealed-Beam-Headlights/dp/B00QB0CCU4 Summit has good reviews though https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gte-90951-5 If I go legit DOT LED, ill probably buy trucklite
