  4. Lol cruiser54. I can honestly say on my mj with 37's and 488 gears I run down the road and my truck gets slightly warmer until I put the spring in. I found a replacement on Amazon and I'll post it as soon as I find it because I tried to buy one local and everybody said oh you don't have to have it. Screw that.... Edit..... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y2JFPNW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
  5. Same here ordered from RockAuto. The h block that you think is just a tube of metal is the metering device that allows the freon to do temperature change so make it so it's cold in your vehicle. R12 runs at different pressures than r134 you can do what you want it will perform better with the right h block. It is illegal to run propane as a refrigerant in anything that is charged greater than 5 ounces in the U.S. there is refrigerant that is deprived from propane but it is missing the explosive molecules. It's an engineered product not propane from Lowe's. Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  6. Also r12 and r134 operate at different pressures. Meaning that we're r12 on the low side would operate between 35 and 45 r134 needs to operate between 45 in 55 PSI unless you have a temperature chart on your gauges. I'm an HVAC, refrigeration technician and electrician. Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  7. If there's an expansion block there's no orifice tube that's a Ford thing. Everything that I used on my 1987 was off of a 95 XJ off of RockAuto and ryc compressor. Anybody that makes hydraulic lines should be able to make you air conditioning lines also. I suggest you take a picture or great measurements to be able to make it exactly how it needs to be so it doesn't rub on anything. Definitely order a new h block for r134 and if you're going that far I hope you change the evaporator coil and the heater coil while you're at it. if you don't you will regret it. 8. Isn't there supposed to be another idler pulley underneath the power steering pump Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk

  11. I've had a few xjs and mjs do this when they get up in mileage. In the last one I used an old school trick but I'm out of old brake fluid from a metal container. Old as in new but old style caustic @$$ $#!&. I've had good luck with sea foam transmission treatment on a few Ford's . Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  12. Go through the basics. Check trackbar bolts and holes Ballance tires ,check all control arm bushing and tie rods Sent from my moto e5 plus using Tapatalk

  15. Use a screwdriver with a wire attached to it and grounded to the other side like making a test light. Run it up and down your wires and watch it arc. Oh please wear gloves. It's cool was shown this in automotive class 20 years ago Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  16. Do you have any installed pictures of your armor I just ordered fronts from max at dirtbound wanna see if they match up well Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  17. I used HVAC coil cleaner. It took off all the crap and made them look great. Nu calgon coil bright it's like a purpleish blue color. Mix per directions. Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  18. Yes 33s on American racing ar172 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. I used the poly spacers that are stackable but I just used one. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252293346892 even with the 4 cylinder I think I'd use them. Rough country springs sag bad in my experience. Also how are you doing your rear shock mounts because the stock ones will not work. I cut off the ones on the mount and welded them on the axle wish I didn't. Should have made new ones. Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  19. Sounds like it to me too Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  20. I had worn 2wd springs also. Used 1.5 inch spacer and 4.5 inch Rubicon express springs core 4*4 control arms and rough country shocks. I highly recommend you get the spacer now and do it once Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  21. What kind of belt is it? When you look from the side are the pulleys straight? When I was a auto tech on belts that had a chirp we would put a dab of dielectric grease on both sides of the belt usually would solve the issue. It was a tsb on late 90s Ford's. Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  22. You could get a junkyard case for 75-150 and swap it in. I think you might have just popped into neutral in the tcase. Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  23. I did run the wildpeak ats I like first get not the new style 33-12.5-15 I have milestar Patagonia m/t now and surprised how quiet they are for an mt. Second picture is after about 10k on them. I still say for a daily cooper at3 Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
  24. Get a Lt tire not a passenger one. It should read Lt235 75 15 or whatever size you want. If you run p235 75 15 they are softer and will wear out faster because they are for cars and light SUV. Sent from my Z982 using Tapatalk
