  1. I'll get you the number when I get home about 4pm
  2. I have an interior picture of the wagoneer but can't get it to load on photobucket for some reason . I can send it to your email if you'd like .
  3. When you ran the new brake lines It looks like in one of the pictures that you ran the line directly below the bump stop . It may just be the camera angle , but if you ever bottom the truck out it may ruin that line .
  4. Never seen wood grain factory on a Comanche . There is a 89 wagoneer down the road from me with the lighter wood grain burgundy door panels .
  5. Volts aren't really what gets you , amps are . I've been bit quite a few times myself , it's an odd feeling lol. Ever touched two car battery terminals posts together? Bad news lol
  6. Here is a completed listing , maybe contact them to see if they can get another . http://m.ebay.com/itm/181093747074?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&_mwBanner=1
  7. Ok I'll keep an eye out for one .I'm in Youngstown and there is a jeep yard close to me that has some Mjs occasionally
  8. Since you already(?)have a used regulator I would use 1/4 x1/2 bolts with nylon lock nuts so you don't have to but the rivet gun . If you were to get a newer xj (up to 96 but not sure when they started to bolt in )regulator they bolt in so that would solve your problem too . But it would involve making an adapter to plug the newer regulator into the old harness .
  9. Merry Christmas .
  10. Update : Finally found the culprit , it was a fusible link at the ignition relay . One side tested good (green wire ) but the other wire(orange) covering was real flexible and pulled apart with ease . Put a new fusible link in and all is good . Now to see why the gauges are bouncing around when I try to use the turn signal . Thanks to all that gave advice / knowledge on this .
  11. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Refinished-Jeep-Comanche-1986-1991-15-inch-Wheel-Rim-/381442838137?nav=SEARCH
  12. Where in Ohio are you ?
  13. Mopar #53005421 for the renix years .
  14. I don't know if it's really a tip as much as a fact . And I agree the thread would need work and I know I didn't put a lot of thought into it either . And when the Facebook crowd or newbies join Comanche club and make the repeated false statements maybe they could be directed to the thread .
  15. The widely believed false Mj statements gets the point across , thanks Don .
  16. ^^ Those statements are all true, not false or untrue. :hmm:That's why I said the title was deceiving . After re reading and WNY pmd me I should phrase is as : Dakota tail lights fit Comanches etc . The rear leafs are the same Mjs have factory sunroofs . Or does this only make sense in my head? lol
  17. The wording of my title is deceiving , but you catch the drift...,
  18. How about a thread that states things that aren't true ? For example : Xj leaf springs are different then mj leafs 2 door xj doors will not fit Comanches Both XJs and MJs are unibodies and the frame cannot be unbolted No Comanches came with factory sunroofs Dakota tail lights are not the same as Comanche tail lights So when a someone new comes along they can read this thread and be more familiar / knowledgeable by reading one post about general misconceptions . Just an idea ....
  19. Sounds kinda loud for a lifter but it's worth a shot .
  20. They installed the RMS backwards? I'm sure they know what they're doing ...
  21. You'll have to get it keyed to match your truck .What broke ? Is it seized ?
  22. I've never had the dorman seal leak because they center in the tank opening better with the 3 tabs . The O ring type seal has rolled on me and I had the problem you have now . Good luck with getting it sealed up .
  23. Pictures would help , but it's sounds like either a soundbar or someone drilled holes in the b pillar plastics for the speakers , that's if it's close to the lights and not towards the bottom of that b pillar plastic.
