  1. Welcome aboard, hope you brought some of that good German beer with you!
  2. There's a decent looking MJ in Atlanta, I think I'm going to keep my eye on it. http://member.copart.com/c2/searchliststd.html?_eventId=lotDetails&execution=e5s3&lotId=21801633
  3. I second that! haha, How about some newspapers or magazines with milestone headlines, baseball cards, coins, love letters (cheesy but they mean a lot 40-50 years from now), freeze dried or canned food like spam or sardines - just to see if its still good when opened up later, and of course a singing frog like on the bugs bunny show that was put in a corner stone. Youngins probably won't remember this...
  4. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
  5. Looks Great! Love the color!
  6. This MJ has the perfect stance! Capable and looks darn good from any angle!
  7. Looking real good man! Thanks for posting up your progress, I really enjoy watching the transformation!
  8. Better a toe than an eye, geese can be pretty mean sometimes.
  9. Does it have an AMC20? :brows:
  10. Renix era MJs/XJs are simple to diagnose when you know what you're looking for. Look up Cruiser's Renix Tips...http://comancheclub.com/topic/36382-cruisers-renix-tips/
  11. Nice work! Love those bumpers.
  12. Here's an idea..... Saw this in a JY a while back. Easy mod especially if you live in a trailer and have extra HVAC vents laying around.
  13. Best of luck to you Pete!
  14. Just some wheeling pics. Here's a video of the MJ going up a creek. its at the 3:40 mark. https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=10151456537662260 Going down an obstacle called the "Slippery Nipple". My fiance's 10 year old daughter, she loved wheeling! My MJ trailer at the cabin... Airing up for the ride home. Trail damage total: Broken track bar mount x3, mirror, rear 1310 U-joint, water pump and the passenger drip rail.
  15. So awesome, is it gonna be a 4 blade or 2 blade? It screams Huey, the only rotary AC I haven't jumped. What an awesome aircraft, I want a Huey ride and jump so bad, I'd sell a kidney to do it!
  16. I had a 74' CJ but it had a 232, anyway, once it had a starting issue, turned out to be this.
  17. Looking good man! I don't mind the TJ flares,,,,,flares are made to be torn off anyway.
  18. The first gen Isuzu D44s are appealing. The second gen are a bit different and wider than our XJ/MJ axles. If you had access to a waggy D44 front, and were going to regear it to 4.56 and go with a 6x5.5" bolt pattern, then that makes an Isuzu 44 with 4.56 gears a much cheaper option than regearing an 8.25 or an 8.8. This link is pretty good, but it says all first gen Isuzu 44s are drum brakes, not true. http://www.zu4x.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=21....There are a couple of first gen Isuzu D44s in my local yard that have disc brakes and 4.56 gears.
