i use lordco for all my needs, its 5 mins away from my house and if i don't make it in time theres another one 20 mins away open for another 3 hours, I'm a daily regular there XD something always needs replacing or fixing so i know all the staff that work there, they say I'm one of the more difficult customers XD (i think they are teasin me tho) i get about 45-55% off, and if i can get a better deal they give it to me, theres not many things i cannot acquire trough them, what ever i can't i get made at truckworx customer service is key to buying parts, theres only one guy i don't like dealing with just because hes not the greatest at finding my needed items, but when i do i like to make him look up every thing because it drives him nuts, over all i think I'm one of the lucky ones on having well priced, good staffed parts store

I did soa and got about 7.5 inches of lift, I love it, I used heavy duty leaf spring perches for no axle wrap, Go for It if you need flex and clear bigger tires, Just get your pinion angle correct, I've had no problems

MancheKid86 replied to MancheKid86's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
decided to chamge my oil pan gasket, this is what my truck should look like for lift wise, next year ill get some long arms the gasket oil pan ready to fall pan out and cleaned lip, i also wire wheeled the bottom of the engine block on the sealing surface and installed now, rust repair as far as i have gotten with the drivers side now onto the passenger side 1st brace out drilling spot welds out, 2nd brace out and what was underneath, plan is to remove all the metal from the unibody rail to the right and replace it all, then to start on the left after i get the right welded and seam sealed -

1989 comanche 4x4 4.0 Project: Shells bells
MancheKid86 replied to xeducatex's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
factory d44's come stock sua, you will most likely have to weld on the spring perches unless you find a mj specific d44  the xj's rear has different mounting locations and different spots for the shocks, (you can use the bottom bracket your shocks mount to still as shown in the pics above i have mine welded into where the stock sua perches are) if you don't want to flog your build thread up with tech talk, and have questions ill answer to pms as well  -

Yes, in the long run it is worth it, Its a stronger axle alltogether, Stronger axle = less replacing parts = saving money
