this is the dash that I'll be using
this is the one I'm replacing
finally installed the dash and a title wheel that I traded for
got the 4.0 in and runnning
I replace my TPS on 89 4.0 comanche, my problme is that I only get @ 2.07 volts on the input and 2.86 on the output no matter where I adjust it.
any clue of what I'm doing wrong.
been work on changing out the dashes and heater boxes past couple days.I ran into this evening the heater / ac box that I want to use is busted.I'm going to change the two boxes out.
if it possable.
everything under it is rusted away floors, rockers, bed sides from the in side out. and it;s only has 64000. miles on it.
the one we picked up from Davey's has a solid body.
I manage to pull the 4.0 and auto out of the donor from the scrapmanche.
switch out the front bumper and tow hooks.
pulled some of the wiring harness from the 2.5 to make room for the 4.0
still have a lot to do, any advice on this build will help.
Wife an I made a trip to Davey's Jeep and picked a 89 comanche 2wd 2.5 5speed does not run
home and in the garage
are plans is to tranzs plate the drive tran from this one 4.0 auto 4wd
also to use HP 30 with 3.5 coils & spacers with a 44 from the parts comanche and do a SOA
how of a big deal is it to change an mj with a 2.5 to 4.0
I have a 89 with a 4.0 only 61,000 mile but the body is shoot.
I found one that is an 89 also with a 2.5 does run.
I'm thinking about picking up if it an no big deal to change over. any in put would help
Thanks
I've have right now 315-16 on pro comp wheel, rough country drop down control arm bracket with with arms, heavy duty track bar, and a rugged ridge steering. right now I have a set 3.5 coils with spacers.
