  1. try car-part.com and search for various items for your year MJ or an XJ. the website organizes by part number so it should then find late 80s Jeeps for you and you can then go to them and see if the harness is available and acceptable. or pullapart.com lists the cars in their various yards.
  2. cleaned up the topic. if i accidentally nicked something that someone thought should be there, please repost.
  3. awesome!
  4. welcome to the addiction!
  5. keep in mind that 2wds are 1" lower than 4wds from the factory so a 2" coil spring will lift a 2wd truck 3". If you're happy with the factory ride quality, why not get some lift pucks?

  7. everyone at the big shows seems to need an angle so as to attract attention among the other thousand setups, they picked pizza.
  8. yup, that's the one.
  9. no harm in replacing the hoses along with the antifreeze just for piece of mind. Brake parts are another concern after lots of sitting. make sure the calipers are lubed up and the hoses show no signs of cracking. also check the hard lines as the pass by the gas tank. it's where rust generally forms first and pops them.
  10. nice!
  11. holy crap!
  12. link? One of our members that goes by the name Grinch asked about starting one a while back.
  13. stupid real life is getting in the way of the digital life and the mods are looking for assistance in finding candidates for MJ of the Month. With so many members these days, I fear we may be missing some great candidates. The truck need not be perfect, need not be whole, just needs a build thread and have loving owner that is an upstanding member here at the Comanche club. send your thoughts to Rob: https://comancheclub.com/messenger/compose/?to=24 and keep in mind that the honor lasts a month, so it could be months before your nominee pops up. also be sure to skim through the past MJotM before sending your ballot. we don't want to risk doubling up someone when there are plenty of trucks yet to see.

    this should be a recreation.
  16. could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you're going to want the fan to turn on before it gets to that point
  17. as long as you haven't deleted your account, there are add-ons for firefox and chrome that allow viewing of the pics. plus eventually we hope to get our own script here thar will convert the pics to CC hosted pics.
  18. welcome to the addiction! be sure to pry back the carpet and check for moisture underneath. there are a dozen ways for water to get underneath and once it's there it'll rot the floorboards
  19. well, generally the point of advertising is getting peoples' attention and as cheesy as it was... we're still talking about it. (pun not intended, I swear! )
  20. PM sent about the merger
  21. XJ shackles could actually invert (meaning the joint bends the wrong way and the leafs bind up) after full droop.
  22. I don't think the WJ arms are long enough for a 4.5" lift. they are stock length and work nicely with a 3" lift. RE makes some nice things. what all does their 4.5" kit include?
  23. nothing says comfort like a truck that's longer than the trailer. love that thing!
