  1. oh I sure hope not. I keep getting lost in the infinite menus. send a message to Alexia and see if he has an idea.
  2. yes. can't remember who, but a kit exists that bypasses the original weirdness. hopefully someone can chime in with the brand.
  3. did you make a decision on the woodgrain or did I miss that?
  4. with a restricted budget, you can't go wrong with a 3" lift and 31s. Don's (hornbrod) MJ is 2wd, 3" and 31s (with a few other knickknacks thrown in)
  5. I just opened a new message and it shows "drag file or choose files" below my text box.
  6. what's you budget look like?
  7. it's part of your emissions setup. if you don't have indepth inspections in your neck of the woods, it can be tossed.
  8. shocks work best on the road when they are inline with the direction of travel, aka up and down. angled shocks are more for offroad toys that see lots of wheel travel.
  9. try to snap some pictures and maybe some numbers from the data plate.
  10. CAD block? central axle disconnect?
  11. haha! nice one I had a similar event when I went to turn off the water under my grandpa's kitchen sink. soon as I touched the valve it popped right off in my hand and shot 50psi in my face. so I plugged it with my thumb and tried my darnedest to, uh, "calmly" explain to my grandpa where the master shutoff was in the basement and then waited while he shuffled off. man my thumb was hurtin' by the time the pressure stopped. all the while my grandma was freaking out over the water in her cupboards. she always was one to recognize the important things in life. or the time I was fixing a leak at my cousin's house and noticed that the in and out for the hot water tank were switched. as in, were always that way since the house was built. oops! thank god for flexy lines. I hate plumbing I'm not even a plumber and there's no end to the stories of fixing other peoples' mistakes...
  12. did it come from a YJ? which trans did they have?
  13. got a build thread yet?
  14. are we sure? I can change them if we're sure.
  15. good stuff we are all suckers for MJ pics
  16. good point! forgot to mention having a build thread. original post edited. essentially the point of MJotM is to highlight members of CC more-so than trucks.
  17. imho, MJ benches should only be used if originality is key. They aren't exactly very comfortable.
  18. rear XJ shaft won't be long enough
  19. The link in my sig has a thread about the 90s Dakota bench installation. way better than any MJ bench ever was! at the very least, don't buy any bench that doesn't have headrests. Early MJ benches didn't have them for some reason.
  20. we now host your MJ pics no need for an outside service
  21. the wheelbase of a shortbed MJ is a foot longer than an XJ. longbed is another 6".
  22. woohoo!
  23. there's an adapter to fit a v8 to an AX-5?! I can't imagine they sell many of those.
  24. welcome to the addiction!
