  1. I finally got the walabot. it's awesome it even told me there were metal studs in the one wall at church where I was trying to hang a baby changing station. metsl studs require different screws and so I got it right the first time
  2. I look forward to hearing about your experiences with it
  3. you should add that to the "most important tip" thread
  4. the ends are just a bit different
  5. is there even a YJ frame under there? that's a heck of a lot of wheelbase.
  6. we're going to need a lot more pics and details!
  7. well, according to my 87-90 parts manual it appears that 2door belts are different than 4dr belts which are different than MJ belts. 2drs have a funky inner attachment point so they should be avoided. 4drs look very similar except for the attachment bit on the lower outside but it should be close enough to work.
  8. -make friends with an electrician -new breaker box for whole house -a 40amp from that main box that feeds a small breaker box for the garage. -install separate 220 and 110 outlets as needed. the fact that you're asking this question makes me wonder if you're up to doing this task alone.
  9. location and rust levels are key to price.
  10. wow, I've got a whole bunch of those in a rack behind the barn!
  11. the ground runs through a connector behind the rear tire. It's not as common an issue as the taillight but it's possible to get corrosion inside (lost my brake lights from that)
  12. where and how much rubbing? got pics?
  13. seems like a 6 tire rotation is just a 5 with an extra tire that steps in from the garage while another goes into the garage.
  14. holy crap! I can barely imagine losing my windshield in the highway
  15. someone will be catching video for those of us too far away, yes?
  16. a 20 year old tire is the perfect candidate for a permanent spare.
  17. those will be "used" though. Will is also in our classifieds under the name saveevryjp1998
  18. this here is a $700 shade thingie that bolts to your roof rack and unfolds.
  19. found these. they claim to have 30 different colors. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-1996-Jeep-Cherokee-4-Door-3-Point-Retractable-Seat-Belts-Black/163265164283?epid=15023924716&hash=item26035cb3fb%3Ag%3Ad5cAAOSw0iBboULJ&LH_ItemCondition=3
  20. they are in a lot more than you think. http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Jeep&model=Comanche&l=fr?PHPSESSID=215a96f2699cc1b6a207f994f1cda107&PHPSESSID=f81016103234ace95e809e8ff7de27b7&page=1
  21. yup. Diligence and luck are needed to find a liner. But those tend to work eventually. I found one for my MJ trailer that was only 20 miles from the house.
  22. undo all the bench bolts so it can scoot forward (I used a socket with a small extension for the last 2) and then remove the seat belt bolts with a #50 torx bit.
  23. swiped the battery out of the new MJ so I can try and move the dakota.
