  1. walmart sells beer, yes? it sucks that the little guy is getting the shaft, but at least beer will be available, right? right?
  2. that is incredibly hilarious in a sad, tragic sort of way.
  3. I do what I can. now go start a build thread about this weird discovery!

    maybe a clue?
  5. Hopefully the owner will respond with a pic, but he said it's the same in the engine bay.
  6. 97+ XJ stuff can go in with relatively minimum effort (at least without having to invent anything). search the projects section and you will find a lot of guys have done that conversion.
  7. happens to the best of us. that's why I always recommend asking questions. the collective brain is a great resource.
  8. splines? if you use your current driveshaft, it'll still fit to your current t-case.
  9. maybe. or it might be fine. you wouldn't be the first to run it with the stock shaft. I would probably try fitting it all up and see how close it is.
  10. not my tree, not my house, not my wood. just my family.
  11. that driveshaft will be about 6" too short. the 12" difference between long and short beds is broken up into 6" in front and 6" behind the rear axle.
  12. enough of the conspiracy theories. If someone has some verifiable news they'd like to share about current events, please do so. otherwise, knock it off.
  13. 3 times if you include the heat pad I need

    What books to read

everyone should read Hitchhikers guide! probably my favorite book. (but admittedly my condition makes is very hard to get anything out of a book so I'm way behind in anything new)
  16. I like to mix it up the current video is about the mechanics of a jukebox. I gotta add this guy to the youtube thread.
  17. not sure I thought I'd ever hear those particular words today I split all that lumber. My back is killin' me, but it's waaaaaaaay better than if I had tried to do it with a maul. I forgot to snap a pic, but I go back in the morning to return the splitter so I've got another chance.
  18. I still haven't seen a single thing that hasn't occurred before in previous disaster areas, it's just on a grander scale because this fight is on a grander scale. They are expecting a LOT of sick people in the coming weeks. War is hell. and we are at war with a pathogen. I cannot change anything that is occurring so I choose to be optimistic and have faith in the country to eventually bounce back. Everyone is free to choose any other emotion as they deem fit. I've spent 18 and 3/4 years now fighting my illness and it took years to train my brain to focus on the silver linings of life rather than the struggle that was my daily existence. I see no reason to stop now. now if you'll excuse me, My uncle dropped off a six pack and I'm going to crack open a beer and watch some youtube vids about fun sciency things

you can always scale back your plans to stick with 31" tires so you won't have to trim anything. But that depends entirely on what kind of offroading you plan to do.
  23. oooooo... that's going to be niiiiiice!
