I would replace the lower arms with WJ arms instead of stock. same length but they are built with a curve for tire clearance. plus better bushing design and are a fully boxed arm. Just need to cut the metal bushing flush with the rubber bushing.

yes and no. Chrysler reused some codes over the years so there are some "errors" in the list. for example, I'm not sure I've ever seen "American Coin Merchandising" before on anyone's list. Not sure what vehicle the words refer to, and we're not sure what the code originally meant. but your truck appears to be a very well-optioned Jeep.

always secure your stuff. always. I've been known to throw a chain or cable over super heavy objects because I don't trust the 10 ratchet straps I just put on.

one of the most creative MJs I've ever seen
-
looking for pics of stretched XJs and found this creation. I bet you could fit a 3rd row in it (and then some!)
-
I don't see the need for an MJ here. Just stretch an XJ's wheelbase with a second XJ.

score! -
my Dakota RT had 3.92s and ~27" tires and could max out the speedo limiter with rpms to spare. he'll be ok.

unless prices have gone up recently, a new tom woods shaft should be under 250 complete with new joints
-
yeah, just have them cut down the non-isolator end. but this is ONLY if the rubber bit is in good shape. the rubber goes bad over time.
-
please do. I've got nothing other than the pic

on the same vein as that car engine, here's what can happen when a cylinder blows up in a locomotive: note the flaw in the middle of the roof ahh, there's that pesky Cylinder! and out on the lawn was the power unit that is above it all in the engine.

worked out fine. my rubber end was in good shape and they shortened it on the other end. But I got it shortened for dirt cheap, like $30. If it was going to cost over a hundred like I've seen other guys pay, I'd have just gone brand new.

welding perches onto an axle is super basic stuff. any muffler shop can do that. Any XJ axle will need the perches moved. a 2wd rear shaft is like a foot longer than a 4wd rear shaft so you'd need maybe 2 feet of lift to accommodate your original shaft. a brand new shaft is only maybe 200 bucks.

there are plenty of train related bad days so I picked a couple of the non-deadly ones. honestly I'm not sure how I'd go about fixing this one. anything they do might cause a catastrophic cascade failure.

as original as that car looks, there's just no way it's worth less than those taxes+scrap. I'm sure you can find a buyer if you don't want to keep it.
