  1. It looks like you've put that liner to good use. very innovative! in regards to the spare tire holding things down, "somewhat" is the key word as you know. I had the liner for my trailer sucked out along with the spare tire the very first trip on the freeway. air pressure is a powerful force. thankfully I was able to retrieve the liner never saw a trace of the tire though. (lost in the brush off the freeway)
  2. my suggestion is to replace the torx bolts with grade 8 studs. that was they can work as a guide upon re-installation.
  3. no hurries. but we'll be waiting. the addiction is real

that aspect is going to take a bit more time to..... well, I'm not actually sure how to finish that thought. it certainly complicates things when interacting with people that believe the lies of politicians (and they all lie, some more than others). have patience and let the system work and maybe things will get better with time. let me put it this way, I have 0 faith in any individual in the system, but I have faith in the system to work itself out. generally this involves pendulum swings back and forth, but we always push forward and are better overall than we were before. eventually.

I think Jeep's point of the ad was for everyone to chill out and stop seeing people on the other side of an issue as an "enemy". disagreement can exist without anger. but not if we let ourselves get continually riled up by the powers that be and the talking heads that benefit/profit from our anger.

if we included those guys I'm guessing the middle might be somewhere in the pacific ocean.
  7. my suggestion is to make one for yourself (for both practice and to show off your skills), then make another and offer it up for sale at a price you think is fair to yourself to gauge interest. as far as businesses go, it's hard to go right from "made one for myself" to "taking orders", especially with something that labor intensive.
  8. maybe, maybe not. it's hard to say without seeing it. but personally I've not been much of a fan of the color matched wheels that I've see on other rigs.
  9. I bear no responsibility for knowing that level of detail for cars made before I was born. give me a quiz on 80s and 90s cars.
  10. sounds like a winner
  11. what specific aspects make this a 91+ only item? i.e. what part doesn't fit the renix trucks? https://trailheadoffroad.com/product/cherokee-comanche-intake-kit91-01-with-pre-filter/

doesn't seem all that dissimilar than when I hear about politicians and the news cycle telling us what to do and how to feel. people seem to soak that up pretty readily. but then they are all about anger. It feels a bit refreshing to see someone, anyone, touting working together rather than more division.

wow, they even picked a Jeep from the middle of their existence. that's dedication to the theme.

I think this particular commercial was less about the brand and more about selling the idea of healing to a divided nation. but businesses be businesses and so we should expect a Jeep in there somewhere of course.
  15. there's a guy in the vendor's section of the classifieds making plug=n=play trailer harnesses.
  16. success! lookin' good
  17. having said all qthat, care to guess what type of front axle was in the 98 Grand Cherokee with the 5.9L engine?
  18. no state is immune to floor rot since it's cause by rain and leaky seals. if your floor hasn't gone bad, it's due to good seals.
  19. nice original trucks are getting harder to find for sale. there's no reason it can't pull in 8Gs.
  20. love it!
  21. not sure if any of the continental states would allow that for such a heavy load.
  22. the EGR is overrated anyways. that bodywork is magical! better than new!
  23. for what it's worth, the manual harness has no idea if the clutch has been pushed either. no such safety measure in MJs.
